We had a wonderful lunch at corner cafe yesterday! Victor was our waiter. I had the lamb sandwich. Everything was perfect!
Everything was slow. The seating, the service and the food. The menu is very limited compared to other brunch locations.
This is a reliable local spot that is popular among locals. Good service and quality food and an outstanding bakery add up to a positive experience you can depend on. Try it you will like it!
Great menu for brunch. However, the crab cake Benedict and the fried green tomato Benedict were very disappointing. The hollandaise was tasteless and the food was not hot when it arrived at the table. The side of potatoes was very good. The muffins were excellent as was our server. We will return and try other menu items the next visit.
This was a perfect meal to celebrate my mother. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the assistance provided by Gabriel (the assistant manager) was tremendous. I highly recommend.
Food & Services very very Top Notch, the GM Manager " Yen " she is very attentive, sweet & nice come to the table to check often, great job
The shrimp and grits were not good. Had a funny taste and the shrimp looked boiled. I took three bites and left the whole thing. Not once did anyone ask if we enjoyed our food. Could barely get our servers attention or the manager to get water refills. I won't go back.
We enjoyed our Mothers Day Breakfast at Corner Cafe. They gave use a plate of mini muffins when we arrived. Our waitress was very friendly and upbeat. Breakfast arrived fast and was delicious. Two eggs over medium on avocado toast with a salad and banana foster pancakes.
Arugula and pear salad was delicious and filling. The added protein - steak - was outstanding!
Very good, would go back. The main dining area can be pretty loud but the bakery was a great place to sit and eat.

Most of our items were not good. The coffee was very weak. The cinnamon rolls were overly chewy. The lamb sandwich was dried out. The shrimp omelette was, however very tasty.
Such a pretty place with amazing coffee, pastries & food. I tried the Nutella iced latte it was really good . I did ask for an extra shot because I like my latte more on the darker side & it was a tiny bit to sweet with the extra shot it was perfect . I went for Easter Sunday with my family and it was such a great vibe. Service was amazing .
We enjoyed our Easter Brunch at Corner Cafe so much. Seated within a few minutes of arriving. Our waitress was sweet, helpful with the menu and very efficient. Loved items from the bakery. Our meal was delicious as always. The only slight drawback was the music choice for a Easter brunch with quite a few children. "You're so Vain," and other selections just didn't seem appropriate. Maybe need soft classical music and a few "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" for the adorable children and the Bunny! Hope to be there next Easter! Thanks to all of staff.
Been going here for 11 years each Easter. There used to be a wait on Easter, but it was worth it if you had reservations, which I used to have to make months in advance. The atmosphere was festive and upbeat, many in the crowd wearing their Easter best out of respect, the service impeccable, the food fantastic and the presentation excellent. Last year we noticed a shift -- no line to get in, the staff less attentive, the food less presentable. This year it was worse. Parking up front, the restrooms run down and in disrepair, the staff untrained and lacking basic server-staff communication abilities, the food sparse, undecorated and "sad". Your entree will remind you of this review -- it's a "sad little plate of food". The traditional Easter Bunny (employee in a suit) used to be jovial and helpful -- friendly. Now the suit is dirty, raggedy and the employee in side lacks basic social skills. The only thing that remains fantastic is the bakery. Now if they'd only hire someone behind the counter and at the register who speaks English well enough to be standing back there... It appears that this Cafe was sold sometime between 2-3 years ago, because the change is dramatic and permeating throughout. We will be changing our Easter lunch tradition to a different location next year.
Food was ok. Nothing exceptional. Fried green tomatoes needed more seasoning. The grits were pretty good. Steak was very small.
