Specifically asked for oat milk as I’m lactose intolerant af. Double checked when I got my hot chocolate. Spent the rest of the afternoon in the bathroom bc they gave me cow’s milk anyway. Careless, easily avoidable mistake.

as, unfortunately, disappointing. I arrived at 1:37 pm, just before their 2 pm closing time, excited to finally try this place. I planned to order quickly, even if I had to take my food to go. However, instead of being welcomed, I was met with skepticism. The young lady at the front didn’t greet me warmly but instead informed me, “The kitchen closes in 5 minutes.” I told her I could order quickly if it wasn’t an issue, but she replied, “The kitchen already began cleaning up.” Her tone and response left me feeling unwelcome and essentially signaled that I couldn’t be served.

Disappointed, I left and went to Howell Mill Kitchen across the street, where I was immediately welcomed with open arms. Cultivate should consider revising their closing time to accurately reflect when they stop serving customers. If service ends earlier than stated, it would be more helpful to list that time online so customers don’t arrive expecting to be served and leave feeling turned away.

Wow. Wow. Wow!
What a hidden gem.
Lively ambiance. Really nice staff.
But the food and coffee really is the star.
Had their pistachio cold foam brew, one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long long time.
Their pesto wrap was also good!
Also we came here because they serve halal chicken so another plus.
Hundred and ten percent recommend!

What a great spot!

Getting there was easy, however with construction and density of the area, parking was a little difficult to find.

I was so relieved when I asked our server about gluten free options - a lot of their meals are already gluten free or can be made gluten free.

Generally I’m not able to to eat French toast because of a moderate-high gluten intolerance and my high intolerance to eggs (I’ve been told to avoid both egg whites and yolks if possible) - so when she told me I could make my French toast vegan and gluten free I was overjoyed and it was delicious.

My portion was smaller, however it did fill me up. My friends had hefty portions. I also was not up-charged for my dietary preferences which I often am used to.

I would definitely go again, just for the vibe. We arrived around 1 ish and left at close.

Cultivate has been a staple in my family for years. My sister and I used to visit 2-3x weekly and eat while working. The food and menu have always been top tier. There have always been numerous menu items that were all delicious. As a personal trainer, I’ve raved about this place to my clients and sent them there daily. Recently, we visited and realized they had cut the menu almost in a fourth and gotten rid of all the popular and best selling dishes. They also downgraded the quality of some foods (for example- the potatoes). We’ve given the new management & menu a chance multiple times and it’s truly disappointing that this change has been made resulting in us no longer visiting the restaurant. So many people have brought this to my attention and feel the same. Really wishing they would return to the old restaurant model that’s been a staple to Atlanta.

I’ll keep it as short as I can. I frequented this place a lot with my spouse. From day one service was awesome, food was awesome. It’s a place we kept coming back to, brought friends and family as well BUT we haven’t been there for a a few months until last weekend. Menu changed (in person, not visible online) and that got rid of what we always eat there. Still ordered (I understand menu changes happen), food was extra greasy, portions were really much smaller than I’d ever seen them, they forgot parts of my order and I had to go back and ask for it (mind you, I didn’t make any substitutions or alterations) and the service was HORRIBLE. All of the staff has always been kind and professional. On this day, around opening, the lady that seemed to be in charge was very short and curt, to us and seemingly to her staff. It was awkward. There was no hospitality. Interactions felt like what you experience in a cold corporate building. I’m going to try the other location in hopes that I don’t have to write this place off entirely. Super disappointed, this was our go to brunch spot.

This has been our absolute favorite breakfast spot since in first opened. We just went since they changed the menu and I guess went under new management? And we’re very sad to see how much the food quality has gone down. We loved the farm-to-fork aspect of the restaurant but now we believe they are using cheap, standard ingredients. We also had poor service that day, they were clearly under staffed (on a Sunday, which is always busy so there is no excuse for not being prepared for the brunch rush). They brought me the wrong drink and took over 20 minutes before ever correcting it. Wouldn’t eat here ever again.

Unprofessional at its finest. As I was waiting for a drink to be made 2 employees were talking pictures of the spilled ingredients of the drink I was waiforg for. The cashier made them aware that I was waiting but they thought it was picture time instead of doing their job

The place is beautiful and a gorgeous spacious vibe. The service was top notch and what you get is affordable. There is good parking immediately near the restaurant but it will be difficult to find a spot when it gets really busy as there is another restaurant right across the way. The chicken and waffle was delicious but I hope they bring back the charcoal aspect of the waffle. They said they took it away because people complained (come on people, we only have one life to live, step outside your comfort zone, will ya?!) that it was too odd. That was a bummer but it was still delicious and had that yummy burn that I only get from hot food (and I can handle my heat trust me). The coffee was good. The Oat Milk honey one was delicious. The golden latte could have a little more balance with honey and cinnamon (but that’s a personal preference) and I did a rose cappuccino that was beautiful to look at but the rose was pretty strong. It might have just been the day but I would definitely come back just to see what else is on the menu.
