Cultivate food has consistently been good with solid service. I find myself here at least twice a month for breakfast/brunch. Hopefully, the battery location can keep it up and not get too comfortable.

It's a trendy cafe and eatery with good coffee, but you will of course pay a premium for being in the battery. No worries, we're used to it. The food is essentially comparable to Applebee's, and the service is slow for the time of year. We went on an off day for baseball, but I imagine they could still staff to keep orders moving at 25% capacity.

Not the worst brunch place but far from the best. The food is incredibly mediocre for the price. I got the breakfast sandwich(just egg and only one piece of bacon and a slice of Swiss cheese on a horrible tasting croissant) with no sides and a water and my bill was $16 before tip. Bacon was cold, there were flys flying around over our table inside, and the waitress dropped off our food and was never to be seen again to refill drinks until the time to pay came. I’m glad I tried the place but it’s not worth going back a second time.

Breakfast is good with generous portions. Service is extremely slow and average.

Stopped in to get coffees to go, I love the Howell Mill location and it never disappoints. Here we spent just under $20 for 2 lattes and they were undrinkable. We took a couple sips and threw them out. Super disappointing

Once again, my buddy wanted to go try the new kid on the block. This time it was Cultivates' new location in The Battery. I found it strange to be able walk into a breakfast place on Sunday at 10:45 am – could it be a clue? Cultivate’s huge dining area was basically empty. Hmmm. My friend ordered the dirty chai while I wanted something different and ordered the pomegranate green tea. I didn’t understand the puzzled face she made after sipping her "chai." That is until I tasted it. It was so strange; sort of like cinnamon in hot water. There was no other spice flavors nor creaminess of milk. She had made a big deal about ordering whole milk; she's mildly intolerant, but she didn’t have anything to worry about. I can honestly say that it was the worst chai I’ve ever had and includes the ones I make from tea bags at home. My “pomegranate” green tea wasn’t much better; it had no taste at all. Not a great start. I ordered the salmon hash and my friend ordered the steak hash. Initially, I thought this would make up the colored water they were passing off as tea, but I was wrong. Yes, the potatoes were crispy as promised. The egg was cooked – not over easy, but no runny whites at least. After the third bite I put down my fork and said, “I don’t want any more of this.” It wasn’t inedible, just not appetizing maybe because it was room temperature. I have a thing about serving food at the intended temp. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to serve my food hot. Unprompted, a few minutes later my friend said, “I don’t want to come back here again.” I think that says it all.

The food is sooooo good and the service was stellar too. Our waiter, who I think was named Jay, was great and the sous chef was wonderful too. She came out and introduced herself and asked how the food was. So personable! The portion sizes are very generous. Check them out for dinner and get there for Happy Hour for a nice discount.

Ordered a salmon BLT sandwich to go and asked for NO bacon because I am pescatarian. Get home take a bite of my sandwich and what is in it BACON. Eat at the Howell Mill location all the time. NEVER coming back to this location again.

Chai latte tasted like PURE molasses. Super weird. Im sure there are lots of other great options on the menu but the chai was not normal

2.5 overall. Nice location with organic coffee, which is amazing, but for a $14 avocado toast you would expect fresh avocado and not a premade (bland AF) paste. Would be great if the food quality matched the organic coffee. The salad was also whatever.

I recently visited Cultivate at the Battery and had a truly wonderful experience, thanks in large part to my server, Dallas. She was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.

The food was both beautiful and delicious, with every dish clearly prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. The highlight of my culinary experience was the organic ketchup served tableside. It's a rare touch, as most places overlook these small details, but it made a big difference and added an extra layer of delight to the meal.

Overall, the combination of Dallas's outstanding service and the restaurant's attention to detail made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Cultivate to anyone looking for a thoughtfully crafted dining experience here at the Battery.

Pretty good ! I’d go again.

My chicken was a nice size, but it was dried out and very flat. Other than that I liked the balance of food with the fruits and vegetables

Food is great as always, just like Howell Mill location. However, the lack of true silverware and glassware at this location makes it feel tacky. Not to mention the waste that accumulates with the disposable cutlery and cups.

Food was mostly good, grits were not good. It was expensive and the menu lied. All and all feels bad man, best avoided if at all possible imo.
