We had three options for lunch and my friend opted for Cypress Street Pint. Good midtown location. The brunch Bloody Mary and Mimosas were good. The food was not good. I almost never send food back but I couldn't possibly eat the nachos with a pile of soggy (very soft) tortilla chips. The whole batch was soggy. The food was also not hot so perhaps it sat for a while before coming out to us. The server didn't give me a hard time but she was also nonapologetic after witnessing...
The cheesesteak was delicious, but it's not the authentic "Philly Style"(more like an inspired by chop steak sandwich). I was a little disappointed at 1st glance, but that soon changed once I took my 1st bite. I've tried a few places in ATL, but they had one of the best tasting sandwiches. I would definitely visit again.
Tacos were so so. My partner enjoyed his burger. The calamari was tasty but for $15 there was not much calimari IMO. Outdoor seating was nice except for the occasional wafting of sewage from some nearby source. Beer selection was excellent and our server was cheerful and prompt.
