Yo I thought I had a great spot for Jamaican food til I went here! Food was awesome fed the whole family and they all loved it! And the outside patio porch eating allowed me to spark one when I finished or before I started if I wanted to. It's usually empty on patio deck. People usually pick it up and take home.

Order: Jerk Chicken (w/ rice and cabbage), side of Mac n’ Cheese, Beef Patty, & and Cocoa Bread- Jerk chicken was decent but could’ve used more sauce to somewhat cover the rice.- Rice was plain.- Cabbage wasn’t steamed enough- Mac was stiff- Didn’t receive beef patty- Cocoa Bread was dry

Didn’t wanna do DatFireJerkChicken with low review but nah what I experienced today wasn’t cool. Always CHECK YOUR FOOD before you leave. Was in a rush didn’t really check mine cause I get food all time there so I trusted what I was getting. I’ll frequent a different establishment going forward when in mood for Caribbean. Got around to finally eating, opened container… This time NO plantains, NO cabbage, NO sauce, NO napkins. Just a plate of rice and dry jerk chicken. So disappointed I didn’t even eat it. It’s cool though. Won’t be spending my money there again.

Dat Fire is true to the name. Since the place is owned by actual Jamaicans the food is very authentic. And they give you a good amount. I have had the oxtails and fish Tacos and they were deeelish. And their kale and cabbage mix... OMGoodness it is so so good. Now this location is not a sit down location and in the summer they do have some outside seating, but it's an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in Jamaica. Also patking can be a bit tricky, so I would suggest calling in an order so you don't have to worry about possibly getting blocked in. Or find street parking close and just walk over.So if you are loocking for some authentic Jamaican food I highly recommend Dat Fire. You will not regret it at all.
This place stands on its name. 1st time here and it won't be the last. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Complements to the chef!

We ordered 3 jerk chicken with rice and peas, and 1 curry chicken with rice and peas. I was soon disappointed. The curry chicken was salt and cut big. The jerk chicken had no taste. I don't know what kind of cabbage was served. I have never seen cabbage cooked like this before. There is no way a Jamaican cook these foods.

I’m back with another one! ?️Google hire me! Shout out to my assistant who has introduced me to “Jamaican” style food and this place… The first time I had it… It was so good and I couldn’t figure out if it was only because I was hungry… Today, I said to self, “Self, try Dats Fire Jerk Chicken” again… I did!…. Being the second time around. I was on a full stomach so I had my order for dinner and it was D-licious! The customer service from the staff was great and it was a lot of food for the money… when I am in the taste for “Jamaican” food… this will be my first thought! Kuddos Dats Fire Jerk Chicken!??

I got curry chicken and rice, and Mac n cheese. The chicken had to be about 3-4 days old. The Mac n cheese was definitely only noodles some seasons and cheese on top. I don’t know about the other day fire jerk chicken but this one by Escobar is disgusting. I think they have new different cooks from 3 years ago when it was good. Also the curry gravy was so watery I didn’t think they put any curry sauce on the rice nor chicken.
