Small but beautifully done menu with house made pastas, and amazing meat selections. Great craft cocktails and wine selection.

Very pretty restaurant. However, the service and the food were disappointing. My hamburger was not cooked. I ordered it medium well and it was literally raw inside. I sent it back and it was sent back to me after it was supposedly cooked a little longer. They gave me the same burger back (it was cut in half by me before I sent it back) but it was still raw. The manager was kind and offered me an option of a different meal but I think they should have cooked a new burger right away and I was afraid to order anything else after sending my burger back twice. The chef was accommodating by cooking butter pasta for our children but overall was a very disappointing experience.

Ecco Buckhead granted me the happiest of hours, two in number if we are to speak plainly, and I enjoyed them both without regret. It sits quietly at the edge of Phipps Plaza, tucked away just enough to feel discovered rather than advertised.
In an age where happy hour prices seldom inspire joy, this was a welcome exception. The food pleased greatly and arrived with care. I took my customary old fashioned, as ever, so often have I ordered it that I may soon be catalogued as a fossil. The bartenders know me well enough now that they call me retro, which I accept as a title of honor.
All told, a fine refuge for mirth, good drink, and honest pleasure, and one I would gladly seek out again.

Overall was fairly disappointed. The service and ambience were good but that's where it stopped. Both the cocktail and mocktail my wife ordered was sweeter than advertised... to the point the mocktail had to be sent back. Oysters were disappointing with no smokey flavor and poor value (only 3 for $14). Pizza was ok but lacked the flavor expected from wood fired oven. Duck was ok lacking in flavor. Dessert was good. We will most likely not be back.
My server, Angel, had all the best menu recommendations !! It was my first time here but won’t be my last. Great food! Compliments to the kitchen

We have been patrons of Ecco, Buckhead, for the past 4 years. We have come to expect excellent service, craft cocktails, and exceptional casual food. Last night, the manager attempted to seat our party of 4 in a bar booth, even though the dining room was basically empty. Our waiter was upbeat and friendly, but a bit insulting. For example, we asked if they had removed all of the tasty salads, and he explained, "Yes, just like in Europe." The appetizers were delightful, and the fried goat cheese was a surprise hit. It went downhill from there- our entrees and sides were served cold, including the NY Strip, Duck, and Tagliatelle. The manager was very polite and responsive. However, once they heated the steak, it was overcooked. This is such an overall disappointment. Ecco was one of our neighborhood favorites for dine-in and take-out. There is much work to be done to deliver the standards Ecco patrons have become accustomed.
It was okay, I’d give it a 3.5. Sat with a party of 4. Ordered drinks and food. Drinks started off decent The old fashion was good, they use large format ice. Highball glasses aren’t heavy bottom so the cocktails don’t feel quite premium.
Goat cheese balls are delicious.
We ordered 2 filets at MP ($50). I ordered mine medium rare and my friend ordered his rare. I also ordered the pappardelle and tagliatelle. My wife ordered a burger.
The steaks were awful. Awkwardly cut. The waitress told our party that the filet was 8 oz but it looked closer to 4oz. It looked like the meat was literally steamed. No crust. Cross section revealed a huge grey band the enveloped a majority of the cut with maybe a dime sized pale pink center.
Friends steak also appeared to be streamed instead of seared on a hot surface.
Crab tagliatelle had absolutely no salt or flavor. Everyone sampled the dish at the table and agreed.
The pappadelle had a good flavor, and noodles were well cooked.
Burger was the star. Wife loved it. It was cooked nicely at medium.
The server did ask me if everything was okay and I explained to her that the steak was terrible and she asks if i wanted to order something else. So I ordered a burger, which again was fabulous. (Too bad I boxed it up and left it at the restaurant 😭)
Ultimately this place is kinda a hit or miss for me. The lower priced items seems to be cooked better then the more expensive items. Friends wanted to try Ecco based off some instagram ads, but may not be worth your hard earned dollar.
Expect about $70 per person if getting a drinks and 1 app.

We were so impressed with the food, ambience and service. It was our first time dining at Ecco, and we will make this restaurant one of our favorite restaurants. The fried goat cheese and cauliflower starters were delicious. Our entrees, the trout was perfectly prepared. Ask for Dimetrich for your server- he was personable, professional, and attentive to our dining needs. The manager is also a quality person.
I had the fried goat cheese and ravioli with parsnips, artichoke, sunchoke. Delicious. Excellent seasoned service.
