“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“

“Absolutely great experience was visiting from NYC and the owner who works there is from NYC, he gave me a tour and food was amazing even had a shot of Sir Davis, it was the weekend Beyonce was in town for concert. “Mr. Paul and the chef are extremely talented, personable, and professional. I was there to help for a day when they first opened and had the opportunity to try some of the food. The lamb burger was simply the best I’ve ever had. All of their plates look like art pieces and they do the best at making each one picture worthy.
The atmosphere and decor really set the mood. They had a vision and they executed it. I’m excited to come back sometime and try more! Great job“

“I had my birthday dinner here Sunday. The service was great. Lynn was our server , he was so sweet & patient. All the men were respectful , helped us pack our food and all. They had a nice clean place, especially for pictures! The food came out hot & fresh. Very tasty even the salads.. First time here and will definitely be back!“

“We recently visited The Capital Grille to enjoy the Generous Wine Pour experience for the second time, and once again it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. Our waiter, Brian, was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive and ensured our wine glasses were never empty, offering thoughtful recommendations and making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. The selection of wines was exceptional, and the pacing of each pour was perfect, allowing us to savor every note and pairing. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and paired with the excellent service, it made for a truly memorable night. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite traditions, and we can't wait to return again for another round of the Generous Wine Pour next Summer! Highly recommend both The Capital Grille and this special wine experience....it's worth every sip.“

“Went during lunch on a Friday and had such a good time! The chef accommodated my gluten allergy and the bartender was friendly and took care of me and my friends needs for lunch. What took my breath away was the decor! It was so beautiful and there and the food was matching that energy by tasting as good as the place looks! 5 stars all around ppl! Lol

“Unbelievable service. The host helped us find our to-go order and due to a timing issue on our end we picked it up super late. They remade our meals so they were nice and hot. Above and beyond service and a huge thanks to Lauren the host. Top notch!!! Give her a raise!!! 🩷 Thank you!!“
