I recently visited Fishmonger at Howell Mill on October 24th and had a mixed experience. The blackened grouper sandwich was fantastic. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, which made for an amazing sandwich.
However, the customer service left something to be desired. While the employees were not rude, they also weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. It would have been nice to feel more appreciated as a customer.
Overall, I would recommend Fishmonger for the food.

Had a lovely lunch at Fishmongers! The shrimp roll was delicious—fresh shrimp with just the right amount of seasoning. Simple, tasty, and just what I needed. Great spot for a casual lunch!

Acclaimed in Atlanta Eater as one of the best bars in Atlanta to cry at, I can attest that the gulf shrimp roll at Fishmonger was so good it almost brought me to tears.

Delicious and fresh seafood. The grouper, caesar salad and potatoes are great. Service is quick and staff is super friendly. A lot of space to seat outside - it’s pet friendly too!

Came here for lunch with my friend. I ordered the hot fish sandwich. I will say that the fish tasted really good, fresh, and was prepared nicely. I paid a whopping $22 for my hot fish sandwich and my friend paid about $20 for her sandwich, it’s a bit pricey. My friend did not like the black and grouper sandwich, she thought that it was a too mushy, but she thought the sauce tasted ok. Try this restaurant out for yourself!

Went here for dinner on a Thursday night. The staff were super friendly, they offered various drinks and wine recommendations, and the food was 10/10. I highly recommend the green curry mussels to start and the hot fish sandwich.

Can’t explain how much I love this place. Super fun vibes in a relaxing environment with phenomenal dishes that always pack a punch. The hot fish sandwiches is some of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Atlanta. Truly recommended.
