Lucky Star is a vibrant Taiwanese restaurant and bar located in one of the new developments in West Midtown. Known for its creative cocktails and special coffee drinks, guests praise the thoughtful drink menu, which features standout options like How Do You Like Them, Cashmere #2, and Rels’ Espresso Martini. The space has a chic and beautiful aesthetic, although some areas may feel a bit sterile due to its location. The team is friendly and offers seamless service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot to unwind.
The food menu primarily consists of Taiwanese staples, some with a twist, such as scallion pancakes made with duck fat that are described as ridiculous. The three cup chicken is a favorite, and the beef noodle soup is quite tasty, with tender meat and spicy chili oil available for added heat. While the portions are on the smaller side, the quality of the food and drinks makes the prices reasonable for the upscale vibe. Many guests look forward to returning for both the food and the unique drinks, with some excited about the Cocktail Omakase experience they heard about while dining at the bar. Overall, Lucky Star provides a delightful experience for those who enjoy its offerings.
