Very tasty donuts…when you can get them. The last few times I’ve tried to go they have been closed during the posted hours. It’s become a running joke lately that you have a 50% chance of them actually being open. I waited over 20 minutes one day at 10 AM and no one came back despite the sign saying “be right back”.
Was browsing Ponce City Market this Saturday and stumbled upon this hidden gem. I was honestly just browsing and the owner offered me a mini cronut on the house. Small business owner I could not accept that so I got one for me and my cousin. That night I remembered I had a sweet treat and took a bite of HEAVEN!! Omg I was not expecting that mini deliciousness to be as delicious as it was. I will be back for a dozen because not being a sweets girly that was something I could get...
This place is a family favorite go-to spot for donuts. Their hundred layer donuts are light, flavorful, not-too-sweet, and overall delicious. Atlanta has a lot of amazing donut shops but Five Daughters really does shine for is unique texture and monthly flavor specials. Shoutout to Janiah who served us even after we arrived to the store while they were closing!
