Hello fellow #foodiesofatl we want to share our Foodie Friday visit at @fontainesatl in the N. Highlands Area of Atlanta.Let's start off with the vibes. It was low key, the staff was friendly, and the food service was very quick. Speaking of the food we had some positives and some neutrals. Here is what we had:Cajun Rice Balls ❤️❤️❤️These were simply "okay". We wouldn't order them again because there was nothing special about them. We have had tons of great rice balls in Atlanta and this is at the bottom of the list. They were just dull.John's Famous Cold Crab dip with pita points❤️❤️❤️Same as the rice balls, not bad just dull. Would not order again. The pita points were a nice touch though and were warm and soft.NOLA oysters ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Okay, finally something we loved. These were amazing. We will be back for these again and will order no appetizers. We should have ordered this twice lolCatfish Seafood Basket ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Cooked perfectly, not too much breading, hot and crunchy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside. Came with really good fries with cajun seasoning.Crawfish Tails Basket ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Cooked perfectly, not too much breading, hot and Crispy. This was really awesome!!The oysters and fried seafood were great. The appetizers left much too be desired. We decided if we back we will go straight in for oysters and fried seafood. Came here with my grandma and aunt for some much needed family time, and they did not disappoint! They're from out of town, and I really wanted a great seafood spot that wasn't too hectic on a Saturday night. We had fried calamari and muscles as appetizers, and they were both delicious. Whatever bread they gave us was one of the best things out of the whole meal! Especially when you dip it in the muscle sauce or the oyster stew. I ordered the scallop po boy and Lobster bisque. Absolutely phenomenal. I'm still thinking about that bisque ? 10/10 spot and will be coming again! Drinks were great, music on point, and service fast. Parking was a bit tricky, but there are paid lots all around, just gotta find spots!

First time here and ordered the Cajun pasta with salmon and broccoli. The salmon was undercooked and so was the broccoli extremely disappointed in this meal.

I love everything about this restaurant except for the excessive amount of salt they put in their fried batter. I mean they do fried food better than anybody in the city absolute perfection. Just salty as hell. I wish they’d leave the salting up to the individual. That’s my only complaint! there you go. Thanks for watching.
The food was outstanding and our server Shanta B made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you very much. Your door host and staff were exceptional. I enjoyed the meal very much. I will be back soon. The door host, my service, the food and staff, and the atmosphere were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Parking: Parking was excellent once I found the lot in back of the building. Valet very friendly and respectful.
Our server Tay was AMAZING!~ Let's get into this food. Get the lobster bisque!~ It was sooo creamy and seasoned well. Full of lobster, too. I didn't even need the lil crackers. The spinach dip was a favorite, too. The riceballs tasted like nothing- they lacked flavor. If they were seasoned with something different that could have revived them. The blackened alfredo with shrimp, chicken, and broccoli was quite yummy. Definitely try that. But the shrimp and scallop jambalaya needs some work. All I tasted was the cajun seasoning. I took one bite and sent it back. The oyster sampler was great. Definitely try that out. This place gets busy so call ahead and check the wait time.Parking: It's better to take an Uber or Lyft. Parking can be difficult depending on what time you go.
