So the joint itself is good, it's really clean. You come in and it has the decor that you would expect, I really large aquarium, it's really nice on the eyes. Before you get to that point you have to really acknowledge the parking there, because it's an open lot, and it is free parking, But depending on what time you go it's not that great. It's located in a strip mall kind of situation so you have parking for everybody in one spot. This is not a ding against the restaurant itself because it's not their fault by any means, but at the same time just be aware that parking could be kind of tight if there is a full parking lot. Soon as you come in at the front door that somebody to greet you, you're greeted immediately and you don't have to wait so I thought that the customer service there was good because you want somebody to see you as soon as you walk in the door. I got in and got immediately seated. My waitress was very friendly and got me some water right away and gave me time to look at the menu. I tried to get a few things so I can try and review a few things so I ended up getting the Pot stickers (w meat), Chicken wings, General tso chicken (comes with soup and rice). The potstickers were pan fried and they were actually pretty good. They came with a ginger soy sauce I think, but it was good and it came with eight of them that were very big. I would definitely order those again. They were thick and they had a lot of filling in them. The chicken wings, were large breaded fried chicken wings. The chicken wings didn't really have any flavor to them. They were fried really well but they weren't seasoned for me. So I would probably not get those again. The general tso Chicken came with an egg roll and you could get it with fried rice or steamed rice. I chose fried rice. The generals chicken was really good. It was fried to damn near perfection and very flavorful! I would hands down get this again! Overall this spot was a hit for me and I would go back to try other things that they have on their menu. I know that the chicken that they have in sauce is good because the chicken that I ordered was solid, so I would maybe try the sesame or the orange chicken next. But everything aligned pretty well for me overall so I don't really have too many complaints and this is definitely a win for me.

Ohh man this place has gone downhill. What happened?! It used to be a great affordable spot to get American standard Chinese. I used to order from here all the time, but this last order was a disaster. The food was just straight up bad. We got two entrees and I think we ate about 10 bites total. It was bland, greasy, and the texture was off. And the kicker is that they charge $20 an entree! I would have been disappointed if I had paid the old $13 from a few years ago, but for $20 I'm just flabbergasted.Spend a few extra bucks and go to one of the higher end joints that are popping up. The era of decent Chinese takeout at a good price may be coming to an end.

Food is mediocre Chinese, just like every Chinese restaurant south of Mason Dixon line. Sadly we don't appreciate real chines food. It's like tex mex. Americanized. Please tell me where the authentic Chinese restaurants are. I miss real Chinese, Vietnamese ans other Asian cuisine.

Good professional servers.. not as friendly upon entering..Hot, fresh American Chinese food. Crispy veggies were a welcome surprise.. prices were a little steep for what came out on the serving plate, but everyone at the table had positive comments.

PEOPLE OF COLOR DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT !I walked in at 9:40pm 11/3/23 to pick up an UberEats order. The place was empty. There was an older Asian lady and man talking at the front service desk. She looked up at me said “ oh” and continued to have her conversation with the guy. No greeting, no “I’ll be right with you” no nothing. I politely turned around without saying a word and left that establishment. I read some of the other reviews just to see was this a 1st time thing or a regular occurrence and what do you know I’m not the 1st to experience the same unpleasant behavior. Anyways we are stronger in numbers if we come together, stop funding their businesses with your hard earned money and they can’t even have enough respect to greet you when you walk in their place of business.

Food was fairly good, came out hot and fresh. The hot and sour soup someone need to lay off the black pepper. I was over charged from the lunch menu price. The waitress took my plate before i was done with it as i was signing the check.

When I lived closer to the area, I went here once a week. I came back recently after several years to find the same delicious food and speedy friendly service I remembered. You can’t go wrong with Fortune Cookie.

Best Egg Foo Young and Fried Rice I've experienced in Atlanta. Top 3 on my list ever experienced in life. The service was great. Leon and Tony where awesome... both guys are welcoming, transparent, humorous and knowledgeable of all the dishes and even included inside tips and suggestions on making dishes even better with add-ons.The portion are generous, let me repeat!!! It's a ALOT FOSHO FOSHO..!!! and so "dang on" good!!! Each dish my wife and I ordered was to much for one. We shared and brought a lot back home for the next day which was even better tasting.. brown gravy..OMG you can put it on dang near everything and I mean it straight slap!Prices where fair and we spent over $130 because I'm extra and like hot sake and beer my ordered mixed drinks also. Fortune Cookie is a clean and nicely laid out restaurant or nice feng shui very chill atmosphere. No way live here in the A and haven't tried this place, if visiting the city you have to try it, get it to go because people where in and out of this place.FYI: My wife never liked shrimp, beef and chicken(3meats) egg foo young she thought it was gross. after this place she is in love with it and looks forward to getting it more then me.P.S. if you do try the egg foo young or sweet and sour chicken or pepper steak, try it with cayenne pepper so bring some..clearly I like spice..lol ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ron.B

I'm baffled that this place doesn't have 5 stars. I've been going here for years and I can say without reservation that Fortune Cookie has some of the best Chinese food (This kind of Chinese food most Americans are familiar with) in Atlanta. I've tried many items on the menu and have NEVER been disappointed. My favorite dish is their Mongolian Beef. It's the best I've ever had in my entire life. So delicious! Their hot and sour soup is also the best I've ever had anywhere.Lastly, you HAVE to try their hot mustard sauce. I think they must make it fresh in-house because it is the most incredible hot mustard I've had anywhere..ever. Half the reason I got here is for the hot mustard sauce. It'll clear out those sinuses instantly. The one "negative" thing I'll add, just for the sake of honestly, is that the dining room can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is busy. But it's worth it.
