Ate at Fred's counter on a bustling Sunday afternoon. We got a cheesesteak, Fred's stack burger, & garlic fries. The cheesesteak was excellent. Food was fresh. The burger was so delicious, I had 2 bites of the full burger, but to save on calories, ate the rest of just the burger meat with cheese, onions, pickles, & mayo. The quality of the meat is excellent (no gristle nor fatty pieces.) Our garlic fries have been better at previous visits, but even not up to...
Ordered take out from here. The cheesesteak was definitely worth it. The salmon sandwich was just ok - good, but not something I’ll order again. Garlic fries were DECKED in parsley and garlic, and I wasn’t mad about it.
One of the best Philly spots in town. Korean Philly is great but I’m partial to the ribeye. Their burger is exceptional as well, as are the fries. Eggplant sub is a really nice veggie option if that’s your jam.
Not a cheap spot and the wait can be significant at times, but a great option in Krog.
