Gibney's Pub Reviews
They were busy but waitress directly ignored us despite multiple attempts to ask her if we could order. Bartenders also ignored us. Being understaffed is understandable but they were just rude. We waited 40 mins. Waitress dropped off one menu and that was it for communication. Have really liked the bar in the past even when slammed but clearly not the case tonight.
I am not one to usually write reviews, but this had to be done:
If you're in Atlanta and looking for a standout pub, Gibney's Pub is a must-visit. The food is fantastic, delivering both flavor and satisfaction with every bite. The vibe is an inviting, genuine “hometown pub” feel, that’s welcome in the area of expensive dining. Their food is enjoyable, tasty and great quality, and be sure to ask for a to-go box - their portions are large!

Gibney's Pub offers a friendly and lively atmosphere, with an awesome jukebox and good music contributing to the overall enjoyable experience. The menu features a variety of options, ranging from typical bar food to dishes like penne & broccoli pasta and fish and chips. The pub's fried cheese curds and pizzas have been praised, while other dishes, such as chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, and chicken wings, have received mixed reviews. The smoked lemon pepper wings are loved, and the cobb salad is huge and delicious. The Ruben sandwich was pretty good.
The service can be hit or miss, but the bartenders are described as incredibly friendly and sharp, quickly attending to customers' needs. The staff is friendly, and the service was stellar. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual afternoon. The atmosphere was fun. Prices are reasonable, and the pub is a great spot for drinks and delicious hand-tossed pizzas made with fresh ingredients, as well as authentic Irish dishes like Shepherd's pie and Chicken pot pie. The drinks were so good. Customers had so much fun playing pool. The orange morta drink was delicious.
