The food was excellent and the friendly staff made you feel right at home! Make sure to try the beignets
We went to Grits and Eggs on Hank Arron Drive. There were hair in our food and lipstick on the coffee cup. The glasses were dirty. First time and last time.
Their version of the BLT is so bad it was upsetting. The menu doesn't warn you about fake bacon, mystery lunch meat slices, raw onion, and the orange sweet sauce that drenches the whole thing instead of mayo.

Grits and Eggs Breakfast Kitchen is a must-visit restaurant known for its welcoming atmosphere and friendly customer service. The restaurant offers a cozy seating area and delicious food options, including the popular catfish shrimp and grits, fried catfish with collard greens, and mac n cheese. The fried chicken wings and home fries are also highly recommended. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for brunch or dinner. While wait times may be long during peak hours, the staff's attentive and enthusiastic service makes up for it. Guests have noted that the team is friendly and accommodating, often correcting any mistakes without hassle.
The food is described as solid, with generous portion sizes that offer comfort food done right. Highlights include the flaky and buttery biscuit, as well as dishes like pork chops with greens and mac & cheese, and the french toast with eggs and waffles. Although there can be some service hiccups, particularly with coffee orders, the polite attitude of the staff helps smooth things over. Overall, Grits and Eggs Breakfast Kitchen remains a great place to try, especially for those craving a hearty Southern brunch.
