Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Atlanta East

Atlanta is renowned for its southern spice chicken, and this place is no exception. I stumbled upon it on a whim after reading countless positive reviews. The first impression was like stepping into a gas station kitchen. We ordered the half bird all black, which includes thighs and legs, with a medium spice level. To complement the chicken, we also got coleslaw as a side.

The service was prompt, and we received our order in no time. The chicken was simply incredible. The spice blend was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat. The skin was crispy and golden brown, while the meat inside was juicy, fresh, and tender. It was one of the best fried chicken dishes I’ve ever had in recent memory.

Every bite was a delightful combination of the spicy, crispy skin and the juicy, tender meat. The flavor was well-rounded, and I never felt any spice overpowering the taste. The medium spice level was just right for me, not too spicy or too mild.

Overall, this place is a must-try for anyone who loves fried chicken. It’s a hidden gem in Atlanta that you won’t want to miss.

Wow... hands down the best chicken my family and I have ever had! 🍗🔥 Every bite was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The service was great, and we had such an awesome experience. We only wish they had a location back home in New Mexico because we'd be here all the time! We'll definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in town. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing meal!

Went for the first time last week after attending the FIFA Fan Fest and my ONLY disappointment was me not visiting sooner.

My mom has been going there for a good while now and I’m glad I finally visited. Allen’s service was top tier and the ladies that were there were nice. The food was sooo good, fresh, and hot, and the service was so amazing had to go back and this week with some of the family.

Highly recommend and will continue to visit.

The family ordered in from Hattie B's - Atlanta East location through DoorDash. I can't speak on the service or atmosphere, since I've never seen or stepped foot in the establishment. I had the Quarter Dark with Southern flavor, one Wing with Mild flavor and Pimento Mac & Cheese. The chicken was pretty good. It wasn't dry and the skin had a nice crisp. The Mac & Cheese was good, but I was expecting more umph to the cheese flavor (since I love pimento cheese). I also ordered the Peach Cobbler for dessert. I actually did not care for it. My serving lacked crust. The flavor of the peaches was a bit off putting. Being that I'm visiting the South, I desired the true southern taste of peach cobbler (minus the excessive use of sugar). I like peach cobbler that has a good balance of peaches and crust. I also like to have the savory flavor of nutmeg. Unfortunately, my serving did not have either.

Upon my initial visit, shortly after its grand opening, I found the cuisine to be exceptionally delectable. Returning several years later, I am pleased to report that the culinary experience remains outstanding. I am committed to frequenting this establishment more regularly in the future.

Great food. We always come for the spicy chicken. It’s delicious and reasonably priced. Staff is always friendly and service is fast. However, DO NOT pull into the parking lot next to them. You will pay $10 to park there for a 30min meal.

The food is always amazing in services is absolutely fast

The chicken has so much flavor. I love this place yet it is a bit pricey. Sides are kind of mid (fries are good as far as fries go) but the desserts are awesome.The black takeout bag is also a small touch that i like.
