HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern

I have been to this location several times and it’s never a miss. Food hot and good, drinks on point and wonderful customer service. The bar tender Christina is top notch! Definitely worth a visit!

Its a nice atmosphere if you want to hang out and chat with friends. I was by myself and I just expected a lot more from the food. I ordered the steak tips without gravy and it was SO SALTY (no exaggeration- ocean and meat). The Caesar salad had every leaf -front and back- painted with dressing that didn't taste like Caesar dressing at all. My drink was pretty mid too. My first server was nice....

First time here. Food was great. Appreciated the gluten free options. Our server Margaret was super nice and super helpful. She made the visit extra nice!

Very good food and consistently good service. Faves are the brunch (Nutella French toast and southern biscuit brunch), and the lunches (they have good deals for happy hour, etc.). The peach bourbon wings are a must try. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here a few times now.

The restaurant is so close to being one of the restaurants I’d feel comfortable recommending to people since it’s literally teetering on the edge of being a stupidly good restaurant… but there are a few things holding it back.

1) Portion sizes on the entrees are absolutely perfect. Portion sizes on some of the appetizers is almost insultingly small (specifically the fried green tomatoes and the Wagyu meatballs. If the fried green tomatoes had literally a single extra tomato slice, and for the Wagyu meatballs, you received 8 quarter sized meatballs instead of 5, it wouldn’t feel like you’re being short changed.)

2) Cleanliness of plates, glasses, napkins, and silverware. On the most recent visit, my first napkin had a lipstick imprint on it that looked exactly like this: 💋, two extra plates brought for the appetizers had some sort of food remnants on them, the tines on two of the forks we’re obnoxiously bent… etc.

3) On the Short Rib Hash, please don’t forget the potatoes and bell peppers (picture attached).

And what’s really frustrating is that even with these criticisms… the Short Rib is ridiculously good, the Cuban is fantastic, and the Reuben is fantastic. The fries are great. The appetizers are absolutely delicious (except for that portion size). The atmosphere is great. The location is great. The service is great.

So, in short, 6.5/10. With a few tiny changes, this restaurant could easily be a 9/10.

Rachael was amazing! Super attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu! She recommended the tacos of the day and it did not disappoint! Will definitely be back and ask to sit in her section 🤩

This was my first time at Hobnob and it was absolutely delicious. Christina was our waiter and she was outstanding. She recommended great menu items. I had the Boneless braised ribs and that melts in your mouth. Great experience. Ask for Christina. She took great care of my wife and I.

Stopped in for drinks before a concert at the battery. Amazing service, Adam was the best! Really good deal on Saturday for the mimosas carafes. This area is so cute too!
