Its Ponce so you expect at least decent. So that’s what that is. Decent. Often chewy and always unseasoned, but still it’s not bad. Just not good either.

overall the prices have skyrocketed wayyyyyyy too much …$8 for a side of mac….(now it’s good but it was high priced at $5…. then i came back a month or so later and its $8now….crazy) the owner is clearly just price gouging out of greed and greed only…. also the biscuits are literally terrible…$2.50 for. a bland …dry biscuit is

Chicken was fried nicely... Crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. BBQ sauce was just OK. The Ponce Market is a fun place to visit.

Extremely overpriced. Nearly $12 for a single chicken sandwich with no sides that is half as good as a Chick-fil-a sandwich. Chicken was dry, flavorless and extremely small. Will never visit this place again.

I spent fourty dollars for 5 pieces of chicken coleslaw macaroni and a chopped salad. i got the family mean assuming it would be a good value but once I got the food I realized it was no dessert item. They informed me they were out of dessert and I cannot substitute. So I asked since the dessert was eight dollars could I get anyth even at a lesser value and the answer was no because the manager won’t allow. Once I got the food the coleslaw was so bad my daughter got sick. The chicken was soggy and the macaroni had an extremely pungent odor. I asked to speak to the manager and she had me wait for 7 mins until she came out of the office. When she came the entire staff came with her, which was very weird. And as I’m explaining why I felt like I got ripped off. She was looking at me as if I just wanted something for free. No apologies or anything.

Nasty all around. Do not recommend. It can’t even compare with the quality of the surrounding restaurants.

We only tried chef's chicken sandwich and it was absolutely fantabulous, spicy with a kick, yum!

This place isn't worth your time. 3 Mac n cheese sides, where each were small and average, and 3 drinks is $34! Are you kidding me?!? The chicken was quite dry. 4 stars for atmosphere as Ponce is a great place, 3 for average service, but 1 star for food.

Trash. If you love microwaved soggy chewy chicken breast between butter soaked buns then this your spot. Otherwise, trash.

Incredibly disappointing. The chicken sandwich and side of mac & cheese was $18, which is triple what it's worth. It was like the lowest quality cafeteria food.

If you are craving a hot chicken sandwich then this isn’t the spot for you. I order the Chef’s Special Chicken Sandwich and it was disappointing. The chicken itself was dry and was not spicy (description states ‘spicy’), the coleslaw was alright as it complimented the dry chicken breast sandwich. I paid $12 for a sandwich that was not filling with no sides or a drink. Also the tip option is pre-set to 18% (you do have the option to change it), but if u rush through the screen you may tip without noticing. And yes I do not tip on to-go orders.

I love Ponce City Market and figured I’d try a new spot. Really wish I didn’t. The Mac and cheese was OK. My husband said the greens weren’t that great. We both had the chicken sandwiches and they were pretty good. We spent almost $50 on just those few items plus two bottles of coke. Definitely NOT worth the money. That’s my first and LAST time eating there. Don’t waste your money.

This place is not the same after the pandemic. They used to make fresh batch when ordered. Today, the chicken was served cold, oily and SUPER salty. Disappointed. :(
