My first time trying Howlin’ Willy’s will also be my last. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. A single word is a perfect descriptor: mediocre.

I got the 3 tender plate with mac and cheese, howlin’ heat level (supposedly their hottest).

I asked for a cup of water, and the cashier then proceeded to try and charge me for a regular soda. He said he was required to do so. I said no thanks, but to void the soda he had to get the...

A decent place. This is my first time eating here. I played it safe and ordered the kinda hot 3 piece tender plate. The tenders didn't have any heat, and very light seasoning if any at all. The fries weren't seasoned. The two dipping sauces I ordered was the comeback and honey mustard. Both sauces were rich in flavor and painted well with the sender's and fries. I highly recommend 3 sauces if you're heavy on the sauce.
