The food and service is amazing!!! We were on our way to catch a flight and stopped by to grab some to go, it’s sooo good!! They weren’t officially open yet but the nice staff allowed us to place orders anyway! Stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

This curry chicken is soo good. The peas and rice with curry is the bomb, meal in itself. I got my wife the brown stew chicken, which she loves. My first time trying a side of cabbage and salt fish, OMG! I usually treat myself to a side of calaloo and salt fish. Check out Jamrock on Metropolitan. Great Jamaican food. Lol, no cow cod soup or mannish water.

Jamrock Jerk Center & Grill is a Jamaican restaurant known for its traditional food and lively atmosphere. The restaurant is small and well-maintained, with a menu filled with Jamaican favorites such as jerk chicken, curry goat, and oxtail juice. The chicken, goat, and other dishes are served with a choice of steamed cabbage or beans, and yellow rice or rice and peas. The bar offers a variety of beers, including imported ones, and a spicy BBQ sauce is available for those who like it hot. Customers have noted that the food can be a bit pricey, and there have been some inconsistencies in the quality of the cabbage and the level of seasoning in the dishes. Despite this, the food is praised for being flavorful, crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, especially the jerk chicken which is described as smoky with a perfect crust. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and the setting includes a cool dining area with enough parking space. Staff members are generally relaxed and may seem busy, but the service is considered pleasant overall. Some customers have mentioned that the oxtail is well-seasoned but tough, and the portion sizes and quality of paper products could be improved. The restaurant is appreciated for its authentic Jamaican vibe and good food, making it a favorite spot for many, especially those craving traditional flavors.
