I don't know why the other reviewer, SS, is lying about the kitchen never being open. I go there every other day between 10am and 130pm and have never, ever been told the kitchen was closed. They make my special order breakfast sandwich perfectly for me every time!
I assume SS showed up a few minutes before closing when they were told the kitchen was closed and wanted to vent their frustration, but that doesn't mean they should make up stuff about a business.
I am glad JavaVino is in my neighborhood!

Certified banger. Great food and coffee, super cheap. Lot of great conversations w the staff there, usually great music playing. If you have a bad time, it's probably your fault tbh. Look inside your self king/queen.

This is where we get our whole bean coffee. We love the coffee and they have a great variety.

The coffee is great and everyone is super knowledgeable, but expect to wait at least 20-30 minutes for any food orders, even if nobody else is there.
Would be my favorite if the kitchen wasn’t so slow.

Love the breakfast burritos but the kitchen is never open. I’ve visited 10+ times at 10am, 11am, 1pm, etc and the staff tells me their kitchen is closed. Today, I was told the kitchen closes 30 minutes to an hour before closing - depending on the day. Very frustrating (esp if hungry). Posting to suggest going someplace else for food as the likelihood of the kitchen being open is slim.

Love the story of the coffee here!! The staff is always nice and the drinks are consistently good regardless of who makes them. Nice selection of pastries!
I love this place, really a neighborhood coffee shop, coffee is great, people are great, service great, this is one of the few places in Atlanta where I see older people just having a cup of coffee and talking to other people and not in a retirement home. The Baristas are really nice, muffins are also good and sandwiches good, honestly I feel home here, no pretentious menu, or crazy combinations, but they have smoothies and tea.

Came in today at 1pm for their breakfast burrito and was told the kitchen was closed. Otherwise, great coffee!

Having relocated out of the City, had not been here in a long time. It used to be my favorite coffee spot.
Decided to stop in while Intown. Boy, has it changed! And for the worst. The place was unkempt. The restroom was filthy. Display food tray was barren. And to top it off the wait person had a bad, sad attitude.
Turned out that moving away from the City was a good thing.
So long….
