We have been to Joey Ds many times . The food is consistently good. The service is usually excellent . Not this time Our server was just not engaged . Despite very clear guidance, he didn't get the order right. He didn't refill our water ask if we wanted another round of drinks . He didn't ask how our food was ,didn't clear our table when we were done or ask if we wanted desert. It put a negative feel on our experience.
This was our first time here. We were seated right away at a beautiful table by the window. Our server was great and gave us the low down on the current specials and favorites. We tried the shrimp, crab claws, and croissants and not a one was disappointing! Hubby had an amazing steak, I had the Chilean Seabass special (perfection) and kids the cheeseburger and chicken tenders. The atmosphere was really pretty with the open floor and surrounding windows.
