Joey D's has extraordinary service. Angelia was phenomenal. She kept our glasses full without asking, and she kept our table cleared so we could have room. She was prompt and just on top of everything. This is not to say that other servers aren't good because they are. It's her delivery and syle that I think sets her a part from the pact. If you're a regular and have had her, you know what I'm talking about. She's really good! The food is fantastic....
We have made going to Joey's a treat every month this year and have repeatedly given it a 5 star rating. However, yesterday (Sunday July 13) was a disappointing experience. We took a couple of friends to introduce them to the restaurant and everything was fine except the food. We all ordered the corned beef sandwich and when the mess came, the meat was tough and chewy. Very unlike JoeyD's. We did not send the sandwiches back because we were hungry but I think this needs...
We haven't been to Joey D's for dinner in quite some time. So we met some friends there and were very happy with our experience and food. Our server, Alex (Alexandra) was super fun and engaging and that also made it a memorable experience. Everyone was happy with their food and the ambiance was attractive, had a good vibe and the noise level was perfect providing energy but not too loud. We will return soon!
