I’ve been coming here for a longtime but today I didn’t have a great experience. Not only I was cornered by one of the patrons dogs and the dog’s owner couldn’t be bothered (the shop is too small for dogs). Also, when the owner came into the back area she only asked the 3 white customers if they had any questions or needed help. I was looking at her only direct her attention to them. I had to go up and ask her if she had a specific tea. If I hadn’t done that she would have left after asking them if they needed help. It was just odd.
Cute little spot
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a remarkable tea company(weekly) that truly stands out. This black-owned business is a gem in our community, offering not only a fantastic array of teas but also a warm and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff make every visit a delight, ensuring that you feel welcomed and valued from the moment you step inside.
The range of teas available is impressive, with options to suit every taste and preference. From traditional blends to innovative flavors, there’s something for everyone. Each cup is crafted with care and expertise, making every sip a unique experience.
What truly sets this establishment apart is its sense of community. It’s more than just a place to buy tea; it’s a space where connections are made, and a sense of belonging is fostered. The importance of supporting black-owned businesses like this cannot be overstated. Investing in them not only helps to sustain and grow these enterprises but also strengthens our community as a whole.
Let’s continue to support and uplift black-owned businesses. By doing so, we contribute to a more diverse and vibrant economy and ensure that incredible establishments like this one continue to thrive.
A wonderful tea House that serves a variety of tea, fresh brewed. The service is fantastic. It steps away from the beltline

We have been using Just Add Honey as a vendor for Emory Residence Life for almost 5 years and Jermail and his team always deliver great flavors and one of a kind service. And the brick and mortar location is even better!

Terrible location with no ambiance in a nasty ass parking lot, they definitely don't make any of the food fresh. Has the green fake plant wall and an open sewer grate near the tables. Need I say more?

T and I were getting together for brunch and wanted to try somewhere new. Though I am a coffee lover, T lovessssssssssss tea. As such, she chose “Just Add Honey!”
I had no idea that Just Add Honey even existed so I was excited to go. Just Add Honey sits in the Old Fourth Ward Area. It’s in the back of the main area and is nestled off in the back corner.
Upon arriving, the outside is very inviting. There is a patio area on each side of the door and one side has a flower wall which is perfect for selfies. As soon as I walked in, my eyes went wide. ?
Vibrant ambiance
Clean store
Amazing staff
The store is wall to wall tea and all things associated. There are multiple varieties which is ideal as any flavor desired is on site. Being a lover of sweet tea I decided to get a “Georgia Peach!”
The “Georgia Peach” is a light brew that has a robust flavor but isn’t heavy. I decided to get mine with heavy sweetener. As there are multiple sweetener options I let the cashier decide for me and she chose honey and I am happy she did. The honey was the right amount of sweetener and didn’t overpower the natural tea flavor or splash of peach flavor.
The location has a variety of art along the walls which catches your eye. It’s as if each room of the establishment has its own theme and feel.
From paintings to chalk drawings, to the simple clean line ashetic. Just Add Honey is perfect for taking a moment away from the hustle and bustle of the city while taking time to open your laptop, a book, or just catch up with a good friend.
As I was trying to be good I didn’t get any of the cookies. However, I can’t wait to go back because the cookies look amazinggggggggggg.
Tea and Cookies anyone???? Take a moment and unwind by paying a visit to Just Add Honey.

As summer winds down, it was refreshing to try the drink of the month—the Blue Wave Matcha! Available in a variety of sizes, this iced matcha features a blend of oat milk, green tea, and vanilla simple syrup. If I had to describe the taste, I’d say it reminds me of cereal milk—in the best way possible!
The ambiance here captures the essence of a traditional tea house, with richly designed spaces. There are separate rooms where you can either dine or shop for products, and there's also a charming outdoor patio! Parking may be limited due to the establishment’s proximity to the BeltLine. But there are public parking decks nearby!
This establishment is charming, and I’m excited to try more of the drink selections and perhaps a light bite.
