I work downtown and this is my favorite coffee spot. The coffee and tea selection is amazing and the small bites make for the prefect pairing. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Also love the atmosphere and vibe. It's a place where you can get in and out quickly when needed or stay and chill, chat with friends, or read a book. Lots of space and comfy seating.

This coffee shop/lounge is GREAT! Ashanti, Brody, Jayden are incredibly friendly, patient &knowledgeable. They're like mad scientists with the way they create such delicious custom specials! Every visit is a happy experience.

I ordered a latte and a cortado yesterday and was charged for both. I left and the cortado had no coffee in it whatsoever but was filled with salt??? I’ve never seen anything like this.

Today was my first time visiting this location, and the coffee shop in general. Since I wasn’t familiar, I spent some time looking for a place to sit and get some work done, ideally with an outlet, but I wasn’t able to find one in the main cafe area.

While I was looking around, I discovered an empty seating area across the hall, which seemed odd since the cafe itself was fairly busy. Before just placing my stuff in there, I made sure to ask the barista (I believe her name was ashanti) if it was okay for me to sit in that area, and she kindly said yes. I even double checked that it was fine to have my coffee there as well, just to be sure, and she reassured me AGAIN.

SN: there is no clear signage before entering this area stating that it is for “tenants only”, hence me asking.

After about 40 minutes into me working, a security guard came up to me and asked me why I was sitting there and who gave me permission to be there (sweet girl btw). I told her that the barista had approved it, but the situation progressed when I was told she said she hadn’t given permission (when she had). I was then asked to go back with the guard to confirm, and the barista denied giving me permission, despite clearly recognizing me, blaming it on being “out of it”. (They were not busy whatsoever when I asked)

The situation was obviously frustrating and uncomfortable, especially since I made a point to ask beforehand. With that being said ashanti, take some accountability babe. We’re human, we make mistakes, and that’s okay. Hold yourself to a higher standard though.

Overall, the experience left a bad impression and unfortunately, the coffee didn’t make up for it ..

Very friendly staff on both of my visits. This Velvet Grey tea is the best version of Earl Grey I've ever tasted. Chill vibe. Clean and quiet.

Really overpriced. Cost more than $7 for a 16-oz coffee that had the same number of shots as the 12 oz.(the extra shot was going to make it even more overpriced, so it was just more water and milk than the 12 oz). Prices really should be posted somewhere— when i asked about prices i was just told I could say what I wanted and she could tell me the price. Why not just post them for transparency so customers can decide if they are willing to pay it, before waiting in line? That said, the atmosphere is nice.

I love it here! The workers and the owner are all very sweet and helpful. Most importantly the coffee is always made right I have tried different drinks from them and haven’t had any complaints. I also make substitutions from time to time and the flavor still carries over.

I had a really disappointing experience today. The staff forgot my coffee order, and even after I reminded them twice, they continued making drinks for people who ordered after me. I finally got my coffee, but only after waiting much longer than everyone else. Mistakes happen, but it was frustrating to feel completely overlooked and not prioritized. The staff seemed extremely rude and didn’t even apologize. The coffee was mediocre, so I recommend skipping this place.

I’m slowly taking part into the world of frappés and wanted to check this spot out since I had a bit of time to spare after an extensive morning. What better way to knock the edge off. Ashanti, our host/barista, had the perfect blend of charisma and cheer to bring about a perfect visit for a couple of first timers like ourselves. She was quite informative, being that she’s worked in the industry of all things coffee for many moons. What a delight!

I enjoyed my morning cup, and will surely return again. The place was quaint, offering great views of the surrounding area. They offer small bites as well. Maybe next time, I’ll stay awhile, bring a book, and enjoy a good read. Of course, with a nice cup of joe :-)

Oh, and they also source their coffee beans from places like Rwanda, and a few other countries —but I can’t remember them all. Worth looking into if that’s your jam. I’m sure that’ll score high on the coffee card for the coffee connoisseurs!
