Been once before about a year ago. Food was good and service was great.1 year later: Hostess wasn’t friendly or nice. Reservation wasn’t honored. We showed up a few minutes before and were told there were three tables ahead. Would have waited if the hostess were nicer. Left to go elsewhere. Will not return.

Fantastic meal - the beignets were practically from New Orleans. Wife had the avocado toast and it was the best she’d ever had. I enjoyed some delish gumbo. They make their own hot sauce which is really good. Only oddities are no tap water - just bottled ($) and the suggested tip amounts on their payment system start at 27%.

It has been a couple of years since I frequent this restaurant. A bit sad to know the original owner sold the place, cause I was hoping to see her Father and some of my favorite workers. Nonetheless, I was greeted and ordered taken by a wonderful human being who was full of joy and great energy (I forgot her name??‍♀️). However, I was in the mood for what was my favorite, the oatmeal. Well I was very disappointed because it was not the same. For me, it was a tab bit too sweet and barely any fruit given (photo size of container attached), not a good balance at all in my opinion. I feel like they went too far and should have stayed with the old recipe. The prices, like every other restaurant establishment, have increased including their tip suggestions (price increase, product decrease). I also ordered the panni chicken sandwich and I have more bread than anything, which was a bit disappointing as well. I ordered a mock tail and asked the server to remove some of the ice and I am glad I did because one, I would only had a couple of sips, plus the cost of, maybe a little more than an 8oz serving, cost me over $11. Overall, the servers are GREAT, hospitable and a breath of fresh air since we all know how poor customer service has been these days. I can only comment on the food I ordered, but it is okay.

The service, shrimp po boy, fries, beignets and my husband's burger were all good. I didn't love the honey on the beignet, and the bottled strawberry lemonade was weak, not sweet or tangy like expected. FYI they don't serve liquor

The food and the service is amazing. The Catfish is a MUST. Parking is limited so factor that in when you book your reservation. I'll definitely be back.

I was very upset. The manager (black male in a suit) refused to accommodate my guests & I. We were planning to have brunch to plan my gender reveal but he made it impossible for us to sit all together without splitting the party. We were told we could not put two tables together although the party next to us did. Worst experience ever! Worst customer service ever! I’m so disappointed because I was looking forward to trying the food. Instead we left and went to a nearby Mexican restaurant which was great. Thanks to the server who did try to go above & beyond although her manager did not. I would love to visit again if he’s not there. That’s no way to treat your guest!

We ordered The Kirkwood breakfast plate. This lackluster plate consisted of carton liquid scrambled eggs, Delia’s chicken sausage (I have a couple of packs of these in my fridge and they will taste good regardless of who thawed them out and heated them up), a spoonful of grits that can be described as mediocre at best, a Parmesan biscuit (I substituted the whole wheat toast for the biscuit - bad choice - the dry Parmesan biscuit would have been good with a plate of spaghetti but not for brunch/breakfast). We also ordered the beignets, which were actually good. The pre-packaged tangerine juice was also good. Lastly, DO NOT SUGGEST that I tip 27% and up. If I can afford to eat out, then I can afford to tip and I can do my own math. The best tip I can give at this point is for you to take the time to prepare your own breakfast/ brunch at home before you head out for your errands on the weekend because if you stop to eat here you’re going to be mad and you’ll go straight home without getting anything done.

Awful, the host was awful, he took money from people to get a seat as well as he took some people without the wait. He seated two ladies at a table for 5 and had to move them when a party of five came in right after them. After 1 hour and 30 minutes of torture , lies and waiting. We lefts and went down the street . An awful experience for my daughter: s birthday.

My children and I went here for a Sunday/Birthday brunch. The atmosphere is open and bright (lots of windows). The staff is very helpful. The waiter was a hoot. So as you know my 'kids' take me to these places I would probably never go because of shall we say my tendency to economize (ie to be cheap). Now the food is not cheap but it is very good. The waiter recommend the catfish and grits which I quote "is God's grace". I tasted my daughter's serving of this dish and said "It isn't God's grace but it's as close as food can come." I am planning on taking my hubby (he wasn't with us) there next time we return to Atlanta. Somethings that you might want to consider if you plan on going beside the price, you have to pay for water ie you can only get bottled water (fizzy or regular) and if you have a reservation, you won't be seated till most of the party has arrived. I must admit I almost didn't give 5 stars because of having to pay for water, but it is a fancy place and it's for the kids right?

I am so happy that I chose this spot for my partner and I to have brunch! The atmosphere, the customer service, and the food was great! We had the Beignets as an appetizer and they were AMAZING and for our entrees we had the Banana Foster French Toasts and the Catfish &Grits! Chef’s kiss!! Can’t wait to come back again!
