Overall experience was good. A little cooler temperature wise on inside than expected. Appetizers were amazing the pork belly was truly great. Had the shrimp and lobster pasta. It's was OK, expected a little more flavor overall especially for the price point. Our hostesses was good and attentive for the most part . To be not as busy the night we attended, patrons should never have to ask for refills. Other than that I was satisfied with my experience.
I finally made it to the Thursday oyster special, 1/2 dozen oysters with a bottle of wine for $25! Oysters were delicious and shucked with care, with lemon, a wonderful shallot and vinegar sauce, traditional cocktail sauce and crackers, but I ate half of them with nothing at all they were so good! I paired it with the jalapeno hushpuppies, which are to die for. They even let me take the rest of the bottle of wine home! This is an outstanding value and the service at Seven Lamps...
