The power of word of mouth is significant. Chef D and the ownership may not realize that I am their most devoted admirer. Although I visited last year by myself, Chef D and the manager were occupied with visiting tables and greeting every European patron, without even acknowledging my presence. Nevertheless, this did not discourage me, as the food was truly exceptional. For many years, whenever I pass through Atlanta airport, I make it a point to stop at their restaurant in terminal A, and I eagerly tell anyone who will listen just how remarkable the salmon is – undoubtedly the finest in the country! Whether at the restaurant or the airport, the quality has consistently been superb; however, today, January 7, 2026, at 7:30 PM, I found that there was no salmon on the menu. The supervisor, Angela, informed me that they do not prepare salmon on Saturdays. Additionally, there was no General Tso chicken, and what was offered on the food line was overcooked chicken, with everything looking stale and unappealing. Angela stated that they would not be preparing anything else since they close at 9 PM. Yet, it was only 7:30 PM, and the food did not appear fresh at all. I will no longer be endorsing Low Country.

ASSAULT BY A CELEBRITY CHEF: THE NIGHT LOW COUNTRY STEAK TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE I’ve dined at top steakhouses for years, and nothing compares to the chaos we experienced here. We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday to a near-empty dining room, only two servers (one also bartending), and completely disorganized service. It took over 30 minutes to get drinks, our water glasses stayed empty until we asked, and our appetizers took 40+ minutes. We ordered “prime” and “wagyu” steaks that were shockingly low quality—chewy, bland, and nowhere near the grade advertised. When my friend politely mentioned the temperature and quality, the owner (Garvin) eventually came out with slices of “A5 wagyu.” He approached us with an immediate attitude, said almost nothing, and just stood there nodding at us like we were supposed to be impressed. When asked what prefecture the wagyu came from, he looked totally lost, which was alarming for someone running a steakhouse built around wagyu. The situation escalated fast. The chef became openly hostile, talked down to my friend, argued, glared, and then suddenly returned to announce he was comping the entire bill and that we needed to leave. We tried to tip our server directly, and he rushed back out telling her not to accept anything and that they “didn’t want our money.” Then, unbelievably, he physically slid our entire table away from us. As my friend calmly began walking toward the exit, Garvin made physical contact with him in a way that felt aggressive and threatening, pushing him toward the door while several other men stood nearby. From my perspective, he restrained my friend's hands behind his back in a manner that felt confrontational and inappropriate for a restaurant setting. This was hands-down the worst, most unprofessional, most disturbing restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Zero stars if I could.
The Service, Food and Atmosphere was simply amazing ❤️👏👏👏👏👏

Steak was good. Sides were cooked weird. Not worth the price I paid. Just go to Longhorn and save yourself some money.

I love LoveCountry Steak. Not only did G Garvin himself bring out the food. The presentation was excellent. Steak was well prepared. It was hot and seasoned. The place itself was beautiful as soon as you walked through the door. I'd recommend a romantic date night, anniversary, or Mother's Day. It's all perfect for a place like this.

I love it here. My husband and I have been several times and the food and service is always top notch. Zach was amazing the only thing I wished for was brussel sprouts. Very sad to see they took them off the menu.

My wife and I came here for her birthday celebration and we really enjoy coming here. Food is spectacular and the atmosphere is always great. Zach was awesome and catered to our needs. Only bad thing is the Brussel Sprouts are not on the menu anymore. That’s one of the reasons we keep coming back!

They were short staffed tonight, but the staff made the experience very pleasant. They checked on us frequently and kept us abreast of process. The service was great even with the shortage. The food was impeccable as always. One thing I wanted was those Brussels sprouts, but I will live. We love Chef Garvin and his staff Dariah and the other young lady that seated us, took our drink and appetizer order was AHMAZING. Thank you for another AHMAZING dining experience
