Lucian Books and Wine is truly a gem in Atlanta. The food is consistently incredible, with a thoughtful menu of small plates that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients. On our most recent visit, the standout dishes were the crisp polenta with black truffle perfectly crispy and rich, and the pappardelle with pork ragu, which was deeply flavorful and comforting. The oysters are always impeccable, fresh and beautifully presented. Service here is just as impressive: attentive without being intrusive, with dishes coursed and paced perfectly to let each one shine. An elegant and delicious experience every time.

Fabulous meal, way better than expected. Best like fancy cuisine meal I have had all year I think.

All of the recommendations were great! Tartare, oysters, duck, grouper, chocolate dessert, wines were all fabulous.

Only slight miss was the peach small plate (not quite ripe enough)

Wow! That was a great meal! The Iberico ham was the best I’ve had in a long time and the crab risottto was just amazing. The duck was very tasty as well. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was outstanding! The wine list is unique and exciting!

Best way to sum up this experience: it’s fun to spend money here. Instantly among my top 3 favorite restaurants in Atlanta.

Really wish it was a little more low key. Would love a nice pull up and read and drink wine spot but this place is like you need to make a reservation usually and it feels pressure

Lucian is an absolute gem! We had the scallops, ricotta gnudi, roast duck, and Wagyu NY strip – each dish was exquisitely prepared and full of flavor. The scallops were delicate with a lovely onion broth, and the ricotta gnudi was rich and satisfying with the perfect balance of squash and guanciale. The roast duck and Wagyu were phenomenal, showcasing bold flavors and impeccable execution. The atmosphere was intimate and inviting, and sitting at the bar added to the great experience. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, a fantastic dining experience – highly recommend!
