Mangos Caribbean Restaurant Reviews
Absolutely the WORST place I have ever been. Waitress had a stank a$$ attitude, food was cold, they added an 18% gratuity when they deserved nothing since the service and food was horrible. Do not recommend. Save your time and your money
Horrific customer service.
The restaurant showed absolutely no regard for a customer purchasing $50 worth of food.
Walked in at 12:30 AM and didn’t receive our order until 1:30 AM.
We ordered two patties and coco bread, two drinks, chicken rasta pasta, and a regular sized brown stew chicken.
When we walked in, the restaurant was empty. After we placed our order, the line began forming behind us.

This is not authentic Jamaican food. The rice&peas look like Zatarins rice and beans. The callaloo tasted like they came out of a can. My stewed chicken was not seasoned well and my Jamaican husband said the curry on his goat was not cooked thoroughly as if it was thrown over already cooked goat. For a Jamaican establishment it was kinda of dirty. I should have ran after that observation. Oh and the beef patties were burnt🤬

Mangos Caribbean Restaurant offers delicious Caribbean cuisine, with a focus on classic dishes like brown stew snapper, curry chicken, curry goat, and oxtails. The food quality is a highlight, receiving praise from customers. However, the dining experience can sometimes be improved, with issues reported with online ordering, such as delayed delivery and incorrect orders.
The restaurant's atmosphere is casual, with friendly staff. Customers have noted the good value for money, particularly during the discounted lunch service, where the portion sizes are generous. While some customers have had mixed experiences with the taste of the food, the majority praise the flavors, especially the Snapper in lemon butter sauce, the mac and cheese, and the callaloo.
The Marietta location is considered the best for both food and drinks, with the Edgewood location not offering a bar anymore. Mangos is known for serving up authentic Jamaican cuisine and playing Jamaican music, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Customers recommend dining in or taking the food to go, as the wait times can be a bit long, but the fresh, made-to-order dishes are worth the wait.
