The food was pretty good as was the speed of service however, the atmosphere I ran four stars because it’s a little confusing. There’s a separate sushi bar that I’m related to the miso ko restaurant. I sort of wish that you could sit inside the miso side and have your sushi. You have to place an order with the cash register outside on the side, of what looks like the actual restaurant. I don't know why this place isn't rated higher, but I love it. Every time I go to Ponce I grab some of their spicy tuna hand rolls and some other rolls. They always have gluten free soy sauce too. I love them! The cashier is always sweet and accommodating as well. If you ask for sake you get a really cute glass cup that you can keep. I have like 6 or 8 now 🤣 Anyway - seating is limited at the bar, but there's plenty of public seating near it
The Veggie soup was very good and the pepper paste was onpoint.Now the service I must say is below average based on the flavor and presentation of the food.Now I arrived with my daughter and ask the greeter if they have table for 2 and she said yes. Then we were brought to a bar area to be seated. I told the guy that I specifically asked for a table and he said they had none available.
