It was Friend Day Out and Mobay Spice was the restaurant of choice. I’m so glad it’s in the Toco Hills Plaza as there is ample parking… Upon walking in, the space is very quaint. There is a nice vibe to the overall ambiance and the overall feel is very inviting and pleasant.

I was at Toco Hills for the opening of Crumble Cookie and saw Mobay Spice sign and decided to check it out. Looks interesting. Clean and cool decor. I scanned the plates of a couple seated nearby and it looked promising. Big plate of rice and some kind of stew nicely plated and presented.
It was maybe 3:00 in the afternoon so I was not in the market for dinner, but decided to try a takeout order of the the soup of the day: fish chowder.
