Every bite was better than the last. Meticulous service and selection.

The food was great and the service was exceptional. Compared to Hayakawa, Mujo seems to have a bit more of a modern take. The ambience was moody and the restaurant was constantly buzzing with conversation and laughs. I loved the presentation, the staff, and the quality.

Very intimate atmosphere and pristine service. The sushi counter was sanded down after each guest and soft to touch. Very unique. Highly recommend the caviar and the uni nigiri (a la carte). The dessert at the end was also delicious. Some reasons I could not give it a 5-star rating: the high price point for an Omakase service and the reservation windows being extremely limited and difficult to obtain. It took me several attempts to get a reservation for 2. I’ve had my fair share of Omakase all over the US and spent significantly less for the same quality (if not better) sushi/sashimi.

This is not a restaurant. It is an experience.Although I've done fine dining, I've never been to a Michelin star restaurant, and they did not disappoint. They knew me by face upon entering, any waiter/waitress/sommelier in my vincity was mine, my water was never empty, the music selection was vast, and the atmosphere was chic, intimate, and neat.As the only single diner, I was placed right in front of one of the 3 chefs, so I had a clear view of all preparation. Since it is omakase, there is no point in saying what I had because you'll likely have something totally different. They do have "supplements" that are constant to my knowledge, and I had the foie gras monaka. Everything I ate had a layers of flavors. A literal oral symphony. The uni (sea urchin) is indescribable. The bathroom had a bidet, which is a first in any restaurant I've been to, everyone is knowledgeable and warm, they had Japanese chopsticks ( there is a difference in chopsticks!) and anytime I need to get up there was someone to pull my chair out and push me in.I could go on and on. As a teacher, I can't do experiences like this often, so it was just a pure delight for me.Just go. It is so worth every cent spent.

I've been lucky to have had several experiences at Mujo, and one things that consistently impresses me is the service. A lot of reviewers have already mentioned the food, so we know the food is good, but the true jewel of this restaurant is the GM, Katy. Her personable manner really makes a real difference from the moment you enter the restaurant to the moment you leave. The first time I ever walked into the restaurant, she greeted me by name and really made the entire experience feel very personalized and special. The little details feel attended to at Mujo, from the folded napkin awaiting you upon your return from the bathroom to the printed menu that’s given at departure. If you’re lucky to be able to snag a reservation, just know that your service experience is going to be top notch.

This was the best dining experience of my life. Head chef went out of his way to take care of a parking issue for us.

We were very excited to try Mujo for the first time. We have had omakase in other cities but this was the first time in Atlanta. We were celebrating birthdays for three out of the four of us and thought this would be fun. Unfortunately while the food was good and presented well the music was so loud we could t hardly hear. We even had trouble hearing the waitress. When I asked if they could turn the music down a bit we were told we should just speak louder. One member of our party was also sat on the corner and was awkwardly placed to engage in conversation. The chef, not the lead, barely spoke to us other than to tell us what was being placed in front of us. Only when asked or prompted was more detail provided. All in all we just felt like they were not concerned with our satisfaction and that we were wrong to ask for any change. For this price point I left with ringing ears and dissatisfaction. Maybe it would be ok for just a couple but not for more than that if you want to talk to each other.

This was such a great experience. The ambiance is very chic and you sat around the chefs in bar style seating where you get to see them work their magic. The food was amazing and worth the price. Great for special occasions.

One of my favorite omakase experiences in Atlanta. From the moment you walk in, every single staff treats you like royalty. They sand down the counters after each group of guests. The omakase chefs are such a vibe and great conversationalist. Each dish was an elevated experience of ingredients/foods I've had. For example, the steamed eggs with scallops are a common comfort food in many asian countries. However, its usually made with dried scallops and the egg was put through a strainer to have a perfectly smooth flan like texture in Mujo's version. All the cuts of fish were extremely fresh and eat bite was the perfect size. I've never had nigiri sliced so smoothly! The starter amuse was a smoked salmon (literally you eat a puff of smoke) in a thin pastry crisp. Such unique textures! We opt to add on wagyu and caviar- both were exquisite and i was very full at the end of my meal!

One of the best meals of my life. From start to finish, the ambiance was amazing with the music and strategic lighting-I felt like I was at home in ATL! All the employees were extremely nice and I had some great conversations and enjoyed myself. Food quality was perfect, My personal favorites were the Japanese barracuda, the ossetra caviar plate, and the otoro/uni handrolls. Miso soup was also above and beyond, amazing deep flavor and color that I’ve never tasted before with Miso. Sesame Ice cream was unbelievable to finish, extremely complex delicious flavors. Had a great time and would love to come back soon. Freshest and best Omakase in Atlanta.
