This is easily a top 5 meal in Atlanta. We were pleasantly surprised by what a great meal we had at Nadair. Only 7 weeks open and Kevin Gillespie once again proves that cooking from the heart is the best way to feed people.

Every course was fantastic and enjoyable. We were treated to a visit from Chef Gillespie himself, what an honor.

We will be back again soon! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Listen, all you had to say was that Jeff G from Gunshow created this and you had all my money. Scottish restaurant in Atlanta, why the hell not? 3 course was plenty filling. Excellent decor. Hard to find, don't look for big signs- follow your nose and eyes. Excellent service. You have a loyal customer.

Did we all go the same place? Did we all have the same service?
If you ask that I order all at once so you can pace the meal, please don’t rush me through it. We ordered one drink and never had an opportunity to order a glass of wine with dinner. Overall, the dinner felt so rushed and frantic. I felt like the staff was running around the entire time we were there.
The food was good. Some of it was fine, some of it was great.
As a whole, the experience was mid, at best.

It was our first visit to Chef Kevin Gillespie's new fine dining restaurant Nadair and while a mixed bag, it was mostly very good.

Located on Zonolite, Nadair has kept essentially the same footprint of it's predecessor, Floataway Cafe, but the tables, chairs, booths, carpet and decor have all changed, displaying Chef Gillespie's affinity for his Scottish heritage (down to his family tartan as carpet and his family's silverware!) The space is light and airy with huge windows looking out into the natural space outside.

We chose the 3 course tasting menu and everything was well prepared and well presented. We especially enjoyed their interpretation of 'fish & chips' via the filet of sole main course and my wife was thrilled with the watermelon salad. The service was good with lots of explanations of the food, ingredients ("picked from our own garden") and background. The gimlet cocktail was amazing.

All of that said, the wine list was one of the most disappointing I've ever seen for a restaurant of this caliber. Overpriced bottles considering what they were, and a baffling wines by the glass list. Cloudline Pinot Noir ($15/bottle?) as your representative pinot in a fine dining restaurant? Only riesling, sauv blanc and pinot gris for whites? I would've been happy to buy a bottle but they were insanely over priced for what they were. Fortunately we brought our own white burgundy and paid the $75 corkage fee (!) which was never mentioned by our *extremely* verbose server. Since the menus (wine and food) aren't listed online, you'll have to take your chances.

We'll return but it's a shame that there wasn't a single glass on the glass list that I would buy and any bottle I was interested in was over $250. I realize they are new and it takes a while to build a good cellar but frankly I was embarrassed for them. And if they're not going to offer better wines, they should at least bring the corkage fee down to a reasonable level.

Eventually we will return as the food, ambience and location were fantastic. I just wish they would do something about the wine list.

Wow! Totally blown away by the food and service was extremely on point. We did the three course tasting and every bit was creative and delicious. The space is really unique in that it feels like you are actually at a Scottish dinner table in a small town. It's really nicely done. If you want a unique experience of comfort and class definitely give it a try. There is not another spot like this in Atlanta which makes it super fun and interesting. Really glad to have this team in the neighborhood.

P.S. Please add decaf coffee to the dessert menu :)

Nàdair was a masterpiece from start to finish. Chef Gillespie’s Scottish roots, mixed with his time spend in the Northeast and South is on full display and executed with precision and elegance. Each dish was so unique; there was a great variety of textures, melding of flavors, and gorgeous visuals from dish to dish that kept us constantly engaged and intrigued of what was to come next. The lamb tartare was so bright and refreshing from the green tomato and onion, while also being rich and bold from the lamb. The lobster dish was a definite standout. The lobster flavor was fresh, full and upfront, and paired so well with the fluffy sabayon. Next, we were treated to a buttery black pepper scone alongside a killer red pepper purée. Next was the scallop and pork belly, which was a genius pairing and fun play on shrimp and grits. Both the scallop and pork were cooked immaculately, and the peach glaze combined with the wood fired char was perfect. Lastly, the desserts were so so so good. I cannot get enough of Georgia peaches when they hit menus, especially when featured in the dessert menu. Salted tablet was something I learned about for the first time; served as an ice cream, it was so refreshing and a great pairing along side the stewed peaches, mini cream puffs, and granola.

I cannot only mention the food, as the service and ambiance was TOP notch. Every single person, especially when we were presented with each dish, had such a genuine joy and passion for what they were doing.

There have been only a few times I have neared the end of a meal and been filled with joy for what we had, but also dread that there was no more to have. I am greatly looking forward to visiting again.

Great flavor profiles. Interesting and creative combinations of locally sourced, Scottish inspired, and southern accented dishes. That being said, the portions of each dish were very small, closer to an amuse bouche. You will leave hungry. And, don't linger over your meal. The second booking is right behind you so you will be politely asked to leave when your alotted time is up. It all felt more like complying with institutional efficency than dining. Tasty though.

We had an amazing meal at Nadair a few weeks ago. It really was more than just a meal; it was an experience. Everything from the beautiful decor and cozy atmosphere to the fantastic service and food made it a wonderful dining experience. We had the 6-course meal with wine pairings and enjoyed every bite. I’m usually not a big scallops fan, but the scallop I had literally melted in my mouth. The pork belly was amazing, as was the roasted lamb loin— every part of the meal was delicious, including all of the vegetables and sauces. I managed to save room for the tipsy laird trifle for dessert which was my favorite. The whole evening was a delight; we will definitely be back!

Experienced the 6 course menu as of 6/29/24.

This is about one of 5-6 places in Atlanta with a unique and creative tasting menu that is worth a visit.

Kevin Gillespie is striking out his own fine dining experience, and this place delivers. From the atmosphere, service, and, of course, the food. Everything about Nadair exemplifies fine dining as well as striving for that michelin green star status. You will have a taste of Scottish inspired cuisine right here in Atlanta, a one of a kind experience.

I had the 6 course tasting menu, and it was fantastic. Some courses were more of a hit than others, but ultimately that is to be expected, and comes down to personal taste preference.

The cheese and onion pie is a great savory starter. You get the thick rich pie crust along with a tart and savory cheese and creme fraiche. 8/10

Next comes the shellfish dish, featuring mussels topped with cultured butter and some various green onion and beet. I wasn't too keen on this one as the mussels had a bit of chew to them.. otherwise, it was solid flavor wise. 6/10.

Course 2 features cheese dumplings. The cheese was very fresh and herbal, with a greenish color. Definitely akin to Scottish comfort food. 8/10.

Course 3 was the scallop with 'Scottish pudding', crushed peas, and bacon scallop sauce. The scallop was perfectly seared, fresh, and flavorful. Combined with the rest of the dish, this went above and beyond the standard scallop in a creme sauce. 9/10.

Course 4 was the pork shoulder. Again, you want to combine all components of the dish into each bite for a rich, savory, and satiating meal. Definitely a highlight of the experience. 9/10.

The final main was the wagyu spinalis. This is the ribeye cap of the wagyu, but the preparation was just not great for me. The meat was lukewarm, very rare, and somewhat chewy. The rest of the dish was fantastic, with the horseradish, potato, foie sauce, and mushroom. Again, everything paired wonderfully for a rich and savory experience. 7/10.

The two desserts were fantastic. A deconstructed peach cobbler and various post-meal goodies. 8/10.

The space is unique, quiet, and cozy, with heavy Scottish influence. Half of the staff are wearing kilts, and the servers/ bartenders are fantastic. Shoutout to Angela and Terell for the memorable night.

Again, this is one of the few spots in Atlanta with a tasting menu and even more affordable 3 course menu of high caliber and unique/creative experience. Focusing on high-quality food sources, Gillespie truly delivers on his version of Scottish fine dining cuisine.

Definitely add this one to your list to experience, you won't be disappointed.

Parking: Nadair is somewhat tucked away in the back. Park in the front of the suites, then you'll have to walk towards the back, it's the last business on the left. Kind of hard to find, definitely needs more signage.

Had a WONDERFUL birthday dinner at Nadair, Kevin Gillespie's new restaurant. It is a must visit, but you have to pre-plan your reservation only seating. The attention to detail was over the top. The service was excellent, the decor is beautiful, silver table service, and the food was absolutely fabulous. He clearly has spent many hours working on his menu. We chose the 3 course menu. Even got a quick peek into his fabulous kitchen with Chef Gillespie on the line! Omg! I even got a signed Happy Birthday menu from Chef Gillespie.

Saturday night we had the absolute best meal in recent memory at Nadair. Chef Kevin nailed every last course and the service from our server Aaron was second to none. The ambience was rather sterile, but that’s not enough to warrant less than 5 stars. I mean each and every course was incredibly indulgent and texture and flavor resounded with every bite. If we can get another reservation we will be back soon.

I can only say positive things of my experience with Nàdair. Everyone who works there was so kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was refined yet comfortable and inviting.

The amuse bouche was delicious and excited us for the courses to come. Every course was explained with great detail as it arrived. My dad, my husband, and I enjoyed every bite we had. The Scottish meets southern cuisine, with hints of French influence, was an elevated eating experience that was clearly crafted with love and care. As someone who is pregnant, I also appreciate a thought out mocktail, and the strawberry smash did not disappoint. We certainly plan on returning.
