Visited around 2 on a Saturday. Seated quickly, restaurant wasn’t busy. After ordering waited over 25 minutes for food, surprisingly as restaurant wasn’t busy fairly empty. 5 of six meals came out, food was fine, but red pepper flakes were heavily added to everything, which teens in our group did not enjoy. I had ordered eggs in purgatory with a piece of grilled chicken on the side. About 5 minutes after others received meals, mine came out; if not longer. Waitress brought meals to another table and met with a new table in that time, without a word about my meal. Waitress acknowledged it was wrong (they incorporated chicken into dish). She waited to bring it to see if it could be redone. Unfortunately, the yolks of eggs solidified in that time. She said they could not make another on the fly and she would send over manager. I don’t love chicken into my food (pasta dishes, etc); but it was edible. But what bothered me was the manager—she came over and said I understand your meal isn’t to your liking, what would you like me to do? Not, I’m sorry we got your order wrong or there was a mixup. I also explained if waitress had brought it out when done, the eggs would have been fine. She did offer to remake but said it would be 10 minutes at minimum; at this point others were over half-way done, so I made due. A good manager would have comped meal, I knew that wasn’t happening, but thought waitress would have apologized when she brought check and offered a discount or dessert. Had that happened, I wouldn’t be posting here.

Definitely exactly what a small group of professionals needed after flights and before a work event the next day. The kale.salad was to die for and plenty without protein alongside an eggplant app. Light breading and perfectly balanced sauce.

Food selection could be better. Meatballs were horrible after reheating. Felt like something was in the texture that didn't agree

Alright, North Italia at Lenox — thank you for whatever this was. As a European, I came with reasonable expectations: olive oil that doesn’t taste like motor oil, a pasta that remembers it should be pasta, and a bolognese that, you know, actually contains meat. What I received instead was an earnest attempt at “Italian-themed” food as interpreted by someone who once saw a photo of Italy on Instagram.
Starter: arugula + avocado salad. Calling it a salad is generous — this was a velvet-clad calorie ambush. Somewhere between a bowl and a small engine, it clocked in at about 500 calories and felt like it. The arugula was doing its best, the avocado was doing its worst, and together they made a very fashionable train wreck. If you’re counting calories or dignity, bring a calculator.
Main: the ‘bolognese’. Oh sweet summer child. Traditional bolognese is a proud, slow-simmered declaration of beef and depth. What arrived looked like lasagna that had given up on life, been sliced into sad ribbons, and tossed in a sauce that sprinkled the faintest hint of meat like it owed somebody money. The texture made it impossible to differentiate pasta from protein — not because of any culinary mystery, but because there simply wasn’t enough meat presence to justify the name. Call it “pasta with a vague memory of Bolognese” and we’d all be honest.
Portions? Hearty. Authenticity? Elastic. Flavor? Present in the broad, suggestive way of someone whispering a recipe to you from across the room. It’s calorific theatre with very little substance. If you want comforting, carefully calibrated Italian food, go elsewhere. If you want Instagram-friendly plates that look like they could star in a chain-restaurant rom-com, enjoy.
Final thoughts: North Italia at Lenox is not Italian — it’s a bold reinterpretation of Italian through the lens of unlimited butter, indecision, and caffeine. I appreciate the effort, I enjoy theatre, but I also like my pasta to know what it is. Not impressed — but I’ll give them credit for the bread. Somebody has to.

We were seated immediately, however it took more than 30 minutes before a waiter even acknowledged us. He apologized for our wait and took our drink order. Our assigned server shows up from where she’s been hiding out and they have a conversation about her tables. He proceeds to explain to her that we were waiting forever. She writes our drink order down then goes to another table where she stays for a good 10 -15 minutes before she even acknowledges that she will be our waitress. This place was not even busy. Staff members are walking back and forth, even the manager on duty ignored us. The food was above average but the experience was disappointing. We were visiting from out of town for my wife’s birthday looking forward to a nice dinner with ambience. It was so frustrating because it just kept getting worse as the time went on.

Food was good. Staff not so good. As new customers, we have never been to this place before so we assumed it was a walk-in & sit down place. Mind you, it was not busy. However, this one lady was upfront but she never greeted us or anything. I didn’t even realize she was there until after. She saw us walk by & didn’t bother to say anything until she saw us going to a table. We didn’t go fully to a table because we stopped & noticed we had to wait before to get seated but the lady never told us if we needed seats. The crazy thing is that the lady upfront just laughed with her other co-worker that had came up to her. They thought we didn’t notice & tried to hide when they were laughing but it was very noticeable. These ladies also kept looking at us every time they passed by us, which felt very uncomfortable. All I can say, from our experience, staff in the front was not very friendly.

We had an exceptional dining experience! Janice B, our server, was absolutely amazing! She was sweet, empathetic, and went above and beyond. Even when a little incident occurred, she handled it with professionalism and care. The food was incredible, and the entire staff, including the manager who stopped by to say hello, were friendly and attentive. We're so impressed! Five stars isn't enough – we'd give it ten stars if we could! If you're looking for top-notch service and delicious food, look no further. Janice B truly made our evening unforgettable.

Man, I always will come here. In my opinion this food is top tier. We have eaten here 3 times and all 3 time the service was A1, food A1, and the atmosphere A1. Great place to bring your family or even someone on a date.

I will give them a zero if I could, food is okay, a wait of an hour for food and drinks is inside, I could understand if the restaurant is packed however I saw people getting served even before we did, def they did to train the servers a little bit more on hospitality because our server never care to even show up to hour table.
Walked into North Italia and barely greeted by the hostess. When we’re sat we did not receive any service for over 10 minutes. The only other couples looked like they had not been served either. Staff treated us like we were invisible, we ended up leaving with no resistance. Extremely disappointed especially with all the positive reviews.
