This was my first visit in an attempt to stay out of the rain... The food was decent, although I didn't care much for the tomato soup. Given the small portions, the price is very high. (I miss the old cafe where I could get a simple egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel for $3.) The staff also seemed bored, given the lack of business, and weren't very professional or polite. Most likely won't be going back.

I had the open faced salmon sandwich (salmon toast). It was pretty good and reasonably priced. The staff was extremely friendly! My only gripe is the speed of service. There was one person taking orders and making the coffee. Needless to say, she was working hard this morning. Hiring another person might be a good idea.

Counter person was very unfriendly. Tried to order coffee and food at 6:55am, and she insisted that I could only order coffee until 7. I was more than happy to wait until after 7 for food, and was merely trying to combine my order. Not sure how this place is getting good reviews, it was anything but reliable for me!

A little pricey, but very good, carefully prepared foods. The open-face sandwiches (really it's just fancy toast) are legitimately good. For about $15 you can pick up a moderately satisfying meal. I usually get an open face sandwich and a cup of soup. The space is very modern yet cozy, and the staff is patient and ready to explain or elaborate on anything. Overall, not an every-day kind of lunch spot, but a treat when I do!

Sadly, I feel like this place isn't as good as it used to be when it first opened. I used to think it was a little pricey but totally worth it, but I no longer feel the same way. Unfortunately, the execution of the food seems to be hit or miss. I used to eat here more frequently so I've tried several of the food items over time. The first time I got the roast beef, it was delicious but since then I've had it soggy with way too much cheese sauce. I've felt cheated with the large soups a couple of times because they were all broth. I've had the toast before where it was too well done. And I just had the arugula salad and while the flavor was there, the chicken was slightly dry and the croutons were incredibly soggy - very disappointing, especially given the fact that the salad was $17. Maybe some quality control would help? I'd love to start eating here again because it's the only place in the building and I would love to continue supporting Kevin.

Outstanding food served quickly from a tiny menu. The prices have improved with subsequent menus and weekly specials.

Simple, walk-up food counter by Atlanta chef Kevin Gillespie. The coffee is quite good. The food flavors are spectacular.

Over priced...super limited options.

The open faced sandwiches are good, as are the soups. Not sure about the price point for a lobby food counter though.

Really love their open face sandwich selections (cream cheese peach preserves is my fave) and they have an awesome turkey sausage parmesan soup. Salad portion sizes are pretty small so I would opt for sandwich/ soups for lunch and Gouda grits for breakfast if you're looking for filling at the price point they offer

Food was good, but like many others I thought the price was high for what it is. I was there with 5 others yesterday for lunch and the reception we received from the person taking our order was not good at all. She don't seem to be very happy that we are not familiar with the menu or how to order. I don't think we will be back.

I love the toast options albeit overpriced. I am, however, very unhappy with being served fage yogurt when I thought I was being served freshly made. I can buy fage and nice organic granola at the grocery store for much cheaper! $7.63 for fage and granola is outrageous!
