Tarvis! Wow, did he ever make my day!
There are only two sit-down restaurants in the E terminal and One Flew South is the best choice IMO. Excellent food considering it’s in an airport and their staff are some of the most friendly and polite folks I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining with.
Tarvis was my server and he was just the most wonderful man! He went above and beyond in service to make my entire solo dining experience a pleasure. I hope to see him again during my next trip to ATL.
Do not recommend. I waited over 30 mins for a meal that never came out. It was not rush hour lunch or dinner. I was told it would be ready in 7mins and 7 mins later, it never came out. Terrible.
This is not your typical airport restaurant. I would even eat here if it were not in an airport. That pretty much makes it one of one for airport restaurants for me.
Best airport restaurant I’ve been to. Great sushi, good cocktails, very good wine list, chill ambiance, great service (shout out to Nick). Not airport good, just good good.
Perhaps I expected too much based on its James Beard nominations, but I was underwhelmed. For the price, the food and service was average. I had 2 whiskey cocktails, the collard greens ramen, and a Kamikaze roll. The first bartender seemed annoyed that I asked for his whiskey recommendation and never brought me a water. The second bartender was very pleasant and was more than happy to make me her favorite bourbon cocktail.
I wasn't given a sushi menu until I asked why there wasn't any sushi on their menu. The Kamikaze roll was very good but the pork belly in the ramen was overcooked and dry, the egg was also over cooked and dry, and the collard green and kimchi did not mix as well as I had hoped. I think if I only ordered sushi I would have had a better experience.
We had the beet salad with salmon and the lamb with sweet potato salad. The whipped goat cheese on the beet salad took it to another level. The lamb was good but the sweet potato salad that comes with it was really delicious! It was sweet potatoes, lots of other cut up goodness with a balsamic type dressing. I've never had it before but will definitely be looking for it again.
Friend and I went to the restraunt upon his recommendation. The food was solid. Tacos was exactly what you would expect. The fish was decent quality and rolls made decently. Smashburger was solid. A bit sweet but thats expected with bacon jam and the fries were hot and fresh. Problem is the service. I never had to deal with such passive aggressive attitude and remarks from 2 servers. Asking for a knife is that annoying for you? Jeez. Out seats were against the wall. My bag was put up right next to me and the server blames me for kicking my bag.
If you ever find yourself in ATL airport, this is a destination stop. The whole menu is fresh and exciting. I've had some of the better sushi here and the drink menu is one of the best I've seen. If you see Max on bartending duty, ask him to make you his favorite drink. It's worth the stop in just to experience. Sushi was luscious and fresh, and the drink was richly complex with bittersweet notes from Cynar and perfectly balanced with tart citrus and a hint of sweetness from fig jam. Wonderful food, good company, and an upscale but relaxing atmosphere.
Can’t believe I haven’t stopped here before. Elevated menu and wine options and Jade was a such a lovely server.

We got stranded at ATL in July during the Crowd Strike issue and Delta's operational implosion. Our server (Monique?) was fantastic. I had the poke tacos with a Hopsecutioner (great pairing!). My travel companion had a soup iirc, maybe the Curry Cauliflower. Dessert was a banana pudding tart of some sort. It was all amazing. A good dining experience isn't usually a big deal to me, but having a moment of calm and normalcy with some good food during that travel nightmare was a nice way to recharge.

Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. The fact that this is in an airport is astounding. I would go through TSA twice just to eat it again. Get the salmon curry!!!

Nice atmosphere. Interesting menu. Unfortunately the food wasn’t substantial or good and the beer listed at 9 dollars was 12 (would you like it as a draft? Shoulda realized I was upsold).
Tuna roll with brown tuna the same
color as the ginger.
If you could Arby’s in and sit here-life would
be better and much cheaper.
