Stumbled upon this shop after getting coffee on this strip. Went inside to check it out. It gives like mom and pops Italian shop vibes. it's a cute grab a bite of food and gelato spot. I had a pesto panini that tasted amazing. I would give the panini a 10/10 it was made to perfection. The customer service was ok. I would def go back for a panini. You have to park on the street for all the places on this stop or there's a small parking lot that has lime 5-10 dollar parking. I will def go back to also try the gelato

Paulo’s is absolutely AMAZING! He is the friendliest person I’ve ever met with the kindest heart. Really puts his all into making his gelato which tastes amazing. Definitely would recommend.

I came back to Atlanta after 13 years away, and one of the highlights of my trip was coming back here. The gelato was as good as I remember, and the proprietor as kind and talkative as I remember. If given the chance, you should make this a point of interest in your next trip.

Paolo is always amazing to me when I come in! His gelato is freshly made everyday, and it's honestly some of the best dessert i've had in a hot minute!! Felicia is always very sweet when I come in and let's me try samples. I always feel so much better when I come to Paolo's!

The owner had too big of an ego—when we asked to try flavors, he roasted us that “this is not a Baskin Robins you know”. When I was consulting my boyfriend on what flavors he wanted, the owner exclaimed that he was in the middle of talking to me, and I interrupted him. The gelato was okay, but he did burn the caramel in the gelato. It was way too bitter to be passed off as a dark caramel.

The African American lady serving us gelato was so incredibly rude.. it almost felt like a sin asking for a sample when I was only asking for 1 sample. .. it’s not like I was asking for 5 samples ! It’s shocking to see how people treat customers these days .. almost like they are doing them a favor by selling them goods for the money ! Simply ridiculous!! If you don’t feel like being nice and courteous don’t work in a job that requires you to interact with people !!
