This is a great restaurant! The servers are so patient and knowledgeable about their menu. In addition to service, the food was very well prepared and savory. To Yuni and Salome, you two were such a delight. If you’re lucky these two lovely ladies will make your experience!

If you're celiac or gluten free you won't be able to eat much here. All of their corn tortillas also contain wheat flour. Thank God our waitress asked if we had any food allergies. We looked over the menu and decided that really everything we were in the mood for, including chips and guacamole, was not an option. The menu looks absolutely delicious btw and the restaurant is beautiful.
We were so looking forward to eating here but in the end we decided to leave.

Took my girlfriend here for a date night! Upon arrival was given parking validation which is always nice to have, and sat at a table within the dimly lit mezcaleria. We asked if we could be moved to a side table (we were sitting right next to another couple) and the waiter was more than willing to accommodate which was much appreciated.

The food was INCREDIBLE. The toastada as an appetizer was tasty and had just the right amount of spice, the main courses (I can’t remember off the top of my head but I had the best scallops and risotto of my LIFE they were so good) were spectacular, and so was the dessert.

The cocktails were also super tasty, but I felt that they could’ve been a bit stronger. That’s my only critic, & it’s a small one because I’m sure if I got the flights those would’ve been much stronger.

Overall perfect date night spot with excellent service (which sometimes is hard to find in Atlanta - unfortunately). 10/10!

If you’re looking for an authentic and vibrant Mexican dining experience, Pata Negra Mezcalería is a standout choice. This place truly captures the spirit of Mexico with its bold flavors, diverse menu, and top-notch mezcal selection.

The food at Pata Negra is simply delicious. From the moment the “tortillas olvidadas” and the oro verde guacamole hit the table, you know you’re in for a treat. The tacos “El Güerito”, in particular, are a highlight and the Poblanas de Pollo.

The service at Pata Negra is attentive and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to recommend mezcal pairings with your meal.

Pata Negra Mezcalería delivers a fantastic experience with its amazing food, excellent service, and vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re a fan of mezcal or just in the mood for flavorful Mexican food, this place has it all. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, and the service from our server was excellent. However, my experience was dampened by the bartender’s behavior while I waited for my cousins. The bartender avoided making eye contact and seemed reluctant to explain the drink menu to me, which ultimately led me to just order wine. I noticed a change in his attitude when serving other patrons, which felt a bit disheartening. In a customer-facing role, I believe everyone deserves the same level of attentive service.

The experience was unique!
Yesterday was my birthday and I can only say that choosing Pata Negra to be with my family on this special day was a very right decision.
Alex, our assigned waiter, made sure to make us feel at home.
Not only did he take the time to suggest different options, but he gave us a very detailed explanation of the entire restaurant proposal.
We also had the pleasant surprise of personally meeting Octavio, owner and Chef of Pata Negra and I can only say that it was just as surprising as each of his dishes.
It is undoubtedly a place to which I will return and I will try to share it with my friends since they also deserve to live this delicious experience.
Thank you very much Para Negra, you have been responsible for a wonderful birthday for me ❤️

Pata Negra in Atlanta is a culinary gem, redefining the Mexican dining experience with each bite and sip. From the moment you enter, you’re transported to a world where every dish and drink is crafted with precision, passion, and a commitment to flavors that excite and satisfy. My evening at Pata Negra was, without exaggeration, one of the best Mexican dining experiences of my life.

The night began with the charcoal martini, a daring drink that immediately set the stage for the journey ahead. Rich, smoky undertones mixed with a hint of sweetness, each sip had me eager for the next surprise on this flavor-packed adventure. Paired with the salsa madre — a delightfully complex blend that elevated every note on my palate — this appetizer and cocktail duo is an impeccable way to kickstart the experience.

Moving to the main courses, we went all out, sampling what felt like everything on the menu. The culinary artistry in each dish made it nearly impossible to pick a favorite, but two stood out as unforgettable highlights: the Poblanas de Pollo and the Carne Sonora. The Poblanas de Pollo was a sensational marriage of flavors, with tender chicken infused with rich, smoky spices and poblano peppers, each bite more delightful than the last. The Carne Sonora, meanwhile, brought a bold depth and richness that lingered, balancing succulent textures with expertly layered spices. It was clear with each taste that the chefs here understand both the tradition and innovation that make Mexican cuisine extraordinary.

The drink menu is equally impressive, with an insane selection of premium tequilas and mezcals that are sure to satisfy connoisseurs and newcomers alike. The variety is simply jaw-dropping, offering a true exploration of Mexico’s spirit culture that complements the food in the most delicious way.

Finally, the dessert course was a revelation. Just like the appetizers and mains, the desserts were crafted to excite and surprise, bringing a vibrant finish to an already impeccable dining experience.

Pata Negra isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an adventure of flavors, textures, and experiences. From start to finish, it offers a spectacular journey that leaves you craving more, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a truly unforgettable Mexican culinary experience.
