I am a Philadelphia native. I have been in Atlanta for five years and have tried cheesesteaks across the Atlanta Metro area. Philly G steaks is hands-down the best that I’ve tasted! The food, the flavor, the quality the service is second to none.

been here a few times always get the chicken philly w provolone everything on it w doritos it usually be the best but this time it don’t taste seasoned well and they give you less for more money ig they have a new cook haven’t been here in a few months ugh
I usually don’t write reviews, but I had a really uncomfortable experience at Philly G Steaks inside the Municipal Market. The card machines in the market were down that day, so no vendors could take cards. I had already gotten my food from another stall and simply asked one of their employees if I could send them a Cash App in exchange for some cash, just so I could pay for my order.
Instead of politely saying no or pointing me toward an ATM, she immediately yelled “NO!” loud enough for everyone nearby to hear. I walked away, a bit irritated, and when I came back to tell her she could’ve handled it with more respect, she came out of her booth and started yelling across the market — calling me a scammer in front of everyone.
There was never any exchange of money or even a transaction — I just asked a question. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. I completely understand if they don’t want to do that kind of thing, but there’s a professional way to say it. Hopefully, management teaches staff to handle people with a little more respect in the future.

These are as authentic as it gets. Actual Amoroso rolls. The owners are from philly and have not forgotten how to make a cheesesteak.

Definitely one of the best philly steaks in ATL. I always go for the chicken with provolone! Best part is they use the right bread, straight from the source.

This is a great spot for cheesesteaks! Popular lunch order-n-go for nearby GSU, Grady, and CHOS employees but can also sit and eat in the market. Friendly service. Don’t sleep on the quesadillas and tacos only available at this location! Amazing flavors!
