I’ve been going to piece of cake for years. In the past it was such a treat because they were always delicious.But the Dunwoody store is just not good.Their slices are dry and seem old. I have a hard time believing they are fresh baked daily for this location. Every once in a while, I will get a moist slice, but not often enough to go back, unfortunately.Might try Buckhead location again.

I love the Mt Vernon location. This is my 2nd visit here and I have been pleased every time. I usually go to the location near Decatur. Theresa at the Mt Vernon location makes me feel so welcomed.

Yummy!! I'm not from this area so I've never heard of this bakery before. I happened to be driving through the shopping center and bakeries always catch my attention. It was near closing time and the store was empty. The young gentleman working (I should have gotten his name) was so pleasant and engaging. He told me all about the bakery and it's products and made some recommendations. I ended up with the red velvet cake and it did not disappoint. Next time I'm in Dunwoody, I will be sure to stop by.

I hope this is the right store I’m giving this review too.. but I am AMAZED?? I’m not from the south so I’ve never even heard of this place. customer service was outstanding. And the HUMMINGBIRD cake… omg. Literally the best slice of cake I’ve EVER had. I’ll definitely be back ???

Stopped by for first time and bought cupcakes & tried slice of hummingbird cake. Carrington answered all my questions about ingredients and even gave me a sample. Cake was moist & frosting was creamy and flavorful. Slice of heaven. Kudos for customer service!

I enjoyed my white chocolate cake today. Only concern, there should be more than one person working on Sunday. The person today was alone, and had a line almost out the door. Luckily everyone was kind and not upset with her. Please get assistance, the product is good- just need more help.

It was very disappointing spending $50 on a chocolate cake that was vert dry. Not worth it. Piece of Cake used to be good. What happened?Poor customer service as well. The person working yesterday was very cold.

I visited the Dunwoody location because my mother always brags about this company and how good the cakes are.....I've never been disappointed by anything my mom has told me or recommend to me before now! I visited this location on 2/21/23 and got 2 slices of red velvet cake for her and I, the absolute driest cake I've ever put in my mouth. It wasn't sweet and didn't have the consistency of a homemade cake. For what they're charging for the slices it should've been way better quality. I wouldn't personally recommend it but everyone taste is different. I drove a long ways to be disappointed!
