As far as I'm concerned, my search for Atlanta's best gluten-free pizza is over. I was heartened by the praise of Pielands' GF crust and found them to be overwhelmingly correct. On the menu, the sole GF offering is in the form of a square personal pan size, and it includes one topping. Additional toppings can be added for a charge (though celiac diners beware: none of the toppings are safe). I wasn't sold on the look of things when the pie first came out since it looked heavily browned and burnt, but the taste was outstanding. The sauce is sweet in a recognizably NY-style, with a crust that I wouldn't have known was gluten-free if I hadn't ordered it myself. It was crispy with good chew, and the Italian sausage I'd chosen as my topping was savory without being too salty. My husband ordered two grandma slices from the ready pans, and I'm afraid he was less than enthused with his choices. Both of his slices were floppy and oily. After tasting mine, my non-GF husband remarked that he should've ordered one for himself too.We both loved the chef's salad, which was a healthy serving and surprisingly robust with toppings like olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, cubed cheese, sliced salami, pickled onions, and pickled peppers. It was a riot of colors in a bowl and a great starter for our meal.Service at the counter was brisk and business-like, though they were happy to answer whatever questions we had about the menu. They bring the food to your table (which has a dedicated pizza stand! I love little details like these), but you bus your own tray and trash afterwards.Inside, the restaurant has a casual, retro dive-bar feel, with 80s tunes (at least while I was there) and even a Ms. Pacman game machine in the corner. There are a few tables for dining in, and several tables out on the sidewalk for those who prefer to eat outdoors.

Came by on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe three other customers at tables, pretty dead. I ordered a single hot sandwich to go. 30 minutes waiting and no food. I just left and walked to George's instead. I won't be coming back.

My first purchase was an online order, the 16"sq pizzas were excellent. Great crust, thin and unlike the chain pizza places the crust wasn't soggy. The toppings were of course amazing. The order was ready on time and the staff were helpful and polite. Second review... and they are still doing a great job, glad to have them in Va. Highlands.

I have never been spoken to so rudely by a person. He bit my head off for telling him we were having a large party and told me just to order. Bald guy with beard taking order. 8 of us here. All live in neighborhood. Never

The prototypical old-school neighborhood, pizza joint. Red plastic cups for the soda fountain, subway tile on the wall, and even an arcade cabinet in the corner for the kids! the vibes are familiar but not boring. Fun but not obnoxious. But how’s the food? Cause nothing I just said matters if the food sucks., The good news is that it’s fantastic! The food matches the vibes. Familiar and unassuming but genuinely excellent. The pizzas and the sammies are both damn delicious. And don’t sleep on the daily specials! There are some killer deals! And finally, a note on the service. The staff here is polite, but no nonsense. They sincerely want you to enjoy yourself, but they’re neither obsequious nor flashy. The service style matches the neighborhood joint vibe perfectly. I’ll be going here regularly as long as they’re there.

Went in last night do to some service work in their kitchen and the staff were super helpful and friendly, on the way out the manager gave me a couple slices and drink on the house. Pizza was amazing, some of the best in town. I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Great pizza joint right in the heart of Virginia Highland. The 4 of us love their pizza and specifically their dough, which is well cooked (unlike at Fellini's and Mellow Mushroom, where it is often undercooked).

This was my first time at this restaurant. I wanted to try the oven roasted chicken wings. I must say, they are delicious. My wings were made to order and I appreciate that. Moist, hot, and bursting with flavor. I tried the garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, and buffalo flavor. In my opinion these are jumbo wings. Great quality. The customer service was warm, welcoming, and respectful. I will be returning here. Parking is limited. There wasn't a wait time to submit my order.
