Pizza Jeans has a cool vibe and is in a great spot inside Ponce City Market, which is one of the reasons I gave it a few tries. The place looks good when you walk in, and the staff has always been friendly. No complaints there.
But the pizza? It’s just not it. The toppings and menu sound good, but the end result always disappoints. It honestly feels like they make the pizzas way too early and just reheat them when you order, which leaves them tasting dry and kinda bland.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first couple times, thinking maybe I caught them on an off day. But after the third visit, it was clear, it’s just not worth it. At this point, I’d rather walk across the street to Whole Foods and grab a slice from there. Better quality and more consistent imo.
Update: Did anyone else read that AI-generate response from them after I left my initial review? smh
Mushroom pizza was delicious! Gentleman baking the pizza was friendly and happy to help accommodate our requests. He made sure our pizza was baked to perfection checking sides and the bottom. Highly recommend.
The pizza was decent, but the customer service really missed the mark. I gave this place two chances before writing a review, and both times I stood at the counter for several minutes without so much as a greeting or a “we’ll be right with you.” Eventually, someone wandered over and took my order and acted like they were doing me a favor.
Didn’t ask if I was dining in or taking it to go—they just handed me the slice on a white paper plate. And then, despite the lack of effort, they still ask for a tip. Seriously?
I get that they’re aiming for a New York-style experience, but this isn’t New York—it’s Atlanta. A little Southern hospitality would go a long way. With so many places around town offering the same style of pizza *and* treating customers like they actually matter, I don’t see a reason to come back.
Love the pizza. Great staff. Can’t wait to go back
Large slice of pizza but basic and overpriced for the quality.
Great place to grab a slice of Pizza!
The pizza sucks. Really. The mushroom pizza had lemon peel and it’s my fault for not reading the ingredients. Margarita pizza was so salty. Tossed them both in trash and walked away.
Abner (AB) was such a great help. Food was great. Ordered a mushroom pizza and it was delicious but…I recommend asking for a side of their homemade marinara (warm) on the side and it took it over the top ✨
This is such a nice spot to stop in for a slice of pizza. I love the old school decor.
It's so nice to sit at the bar and meet new people over of slice of New York style pizza.
I wanted to share my slice with my son so I had them to slice mine in half.
Abner was so kind and sweet and this pizza was so delicious it’s the closest I’ve had to true NYC style pizza

Best marguerita pizza Ive had in a long time. Nice thin crust. Very light. Fresh basil. It was delicious. The whole market is beautiful and many places to eat but if you are in the mood for great pizza, this place will not dissapoint! Visiting from Fort Lauderdale and looking forward to coming back to visit.

If you want NY style pizza this is the place for it!! I finally have found my place for a great slice on the go. It’s family-friendly, and the owner genuinely embodies the spirit of Brooklyn.
