Such a vibe! Rooftop was a perfect late-summer breezy atmosphere. I got the Shephards Pie and it was delicious with like a tender pot roast texture to the meat. Also had the Lye Tie mocktail and it was the cutest little refreshing zing. Can't wait to go for dinner because downstairs is SOOOO sexy 😍

I’ve tried calling this restaurant over 10 times in the past week to make a dinner reservation..no one ever answers or returns the call. There’s also no option to book online. Really disappointing experience so far. Please consider improving your reservation process.

⸻ Overall, I was disappointed with the food, especially given the $122 bill. The nachos were a letdown (2/10) — overwhelmed by lettuce and lacking in flavor. The lobster bites (5/10) had a texture and taste reminiscent of chicken gizzards. The shrimp and grits (6/10) were overpowered by the sauce, masking the other flavors. The bone marrow burger, while flavorful (9/10), was served at room temperature. Unfortunately, this will be a one-and-done experience for me.

The restaurant itself is GORGEOUS! The food is very good and came out fast. Erica our waitress was AMAZING. Very attentive but not over bearing. Will be back!

We went at 3pm on a Saturday. There was only server and we felt bad for him. He was a great server but was slammed.

We also observed at least three parties come in and walk out when no one greeted them or came to seat them.

Food was excellent and we'll be back. We just hope it's when more servers are on duty.

Finally tried out the fancier downstairs after a so-so experience in the upstairs Tavern. First off, we will be back bc the Menu has enough tantalizing options! The Venison is superb!! Had great Service even on a Monday Night with the place empty. Shame they stopped Trivia Night. The downstairs bathroom should have at least one with a changing table.

There were 5 of us in our party. We ordered the calamari, and it lacked some seasoning, but I enjoyed the fact that there were rings, tentacles, and fried peppers. I had the lobster mac and cheese from the sides menu, and it was delicious. It was enough for my meal too. The price was not bad either. I really want to try the lemon pepper wings and potato skins next time. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes (black bean burger, shrimp and grits, ruben and fish and chips), too. They raved about the sweet potato fries. It was a great lunch at the tavern with the golden girls.

A place that takes you back in time with amazing art deco interior, I always feel like I’m entering “The Great Gatsby” , Me and my family have been here countless times and each time food is absolutely amazing amazing perfectly executed extremely delicious. We had the pleasure of Drew as our server who made our experience unforgettable, his recommendations let’s just say I don’t need a menu with Drew..overall amazing food, outstanding service and an elegant ambiance

Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. The food was not great. I don't think it was particularly bad but I did not enjoy what I ordered. It was more about year preference. When I ordered breakfast potatoes I didn't expect them to heavily seasoned with herbs like rosemary and thyme. The corned beef in the RC bowl was shaved as if it was for sandwiches I expected actual corned beef and the gravy was gel like. I would go back to and recommend Rose and Crown but I would order something different.

Went here on Valentines to meet my bestie for a friendship date. Free parking with a very nice sized lot. Upon entering, I noticed a very nice, cozy seating area with a fireplace. They also had fresh roses everywhere, which was beautiful. They honored the reservation and sat us promptly. The server was professional but not personable. I'm sure Valentine's is a busy night, but her energy was lacking tremendously. She was definitely the damper of the evening. Nonetheless, the food was absolutely amazing! We learned they have a patio upstairs with a completely different menu. I was also told they offer brunch. The establishment is very nice, and I would love to try more menu items. I would certainly recommend it.

I truly cannot say enough good things about R&C Kitchen! I was recently there for my high school reunion, and we were blown away by every aspect. First, the space itself is absolutely gorgeous. Yet as stunning as it is, it still had this amazing cozy and warm ambiance.

All the staff there had a great energy about them. The attentiveness of all the servers and bartenders was top notch. I have been to many events, and I have never seen so many passed hors d’oeuvres trays coming out…they were on top of it!

The quality and presentation of the food and cocktails was second to none. Both the hors d’oeuvres and the dinner buffet were delicious and though dishes we all recognize, looked very upscale and well thought out as well. The bartenders worked so hard all evening. I tried the signature cocktail of the night, and it was perfectly done.

As a venue to have a special event, big or small, you cannot go wrong with R&C Kitchen. Our photographs turned out gorgeous because of the decor and ambiance there. There is also a beautiful rooftop bar right upstairs as well.

I personally cannot wait to go back and spend more time there. It is a unique place with a vibe all its own that should be experienced by all. I love the location as well…convenient to town and just a couple miles from the Battery! We will definitely be back!

Lively atmosphere and good food. We sat on the outdoor patio for a work function and we were very impressed. Food was great with lots of options and something for everyone. Service was good, but it was tough to gauge since we had such a large party. All staff were very polite and knowledgeable about the offerings. I have a feeling we'll be coming back here again. Great experience!

Great food. Calamari is the best! Waitstaff is so personable & professional. The owner & his wife are warm, welcoming & sincerely interested in making sure your experience at their restaurant is pleasant & relaxing.
