The customer service leaves much to be desired. My sister called ahead to see whether or not they were willing to slice cherry pie so that she could purchase it upon arrival. The lady said yes but upon arrival, she was unwilling to cut the pie for her because “it would’ve taken too long and it was too much work.” She was accommodating to other customers though so it appears to be racial profiling. She should be fired. My sister is kind to everyone and we shouldn’t spend money where our dollar isn’t respected. She sadly walked out without the pie that she had called ahead for. What a shame.

My friends and I had a very disappointing, unpleasant and unwelcoming experience at this bakery one of my friends recommended and spoke highly of this bakery to rest of the our group. So we decided to make a trip before they closed. We were excited and looking forward to eating some pies. But when we arrived about 30 minutes before closing with no other customers in the store. My friend went first ordering a a slice of cherry pie from the cherry pie that we are seeing behind the counter that read “Cherry Pie.” We were met with a very rude employee that had a very nasty attitude. She told my friend she didn’t have time to slice a piece of cherry pie with 20 minutes left before the store closed. Let me say that again an employee didn’t have time to SLICE A PIECE OF CHERRY PIE. That takes 2 seconds and another 5 seconds to pay. We felt dismissed and honestly judged. Very disappointing first time experience as a customer won’t be back at all.

I’ve enjoyed Southern Baked Pie’s pies in the past, but my most recent experience was extremely disappointing.

A few days before visiting, I called to ask whether cherry pie was available by the slice. I was told that while they didn’t normally have cherry pie slices prepared, they would be happy to slice one for me if I came in. Based on that information, we made a special trip to the shop specifically for the pie.

When we arrived about 20 minutes before closing, there were no other customers in the store. However, we were told there wasn’t enough time to slice the pie and serve us. Had I been told that beforehand, I would have understood and made other plans. Instead, we drove out based on the assurance that the pie would be available, only to be turned away while the store was still open.

The pies are great, but customer service matters too. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating enough that I won’t be returning.

Just meh.

Stopped into this pie shop on a whim and had a great experience. The pies all looked amazing, and Erynn was super helpful while I was deciding one to get- patient, friendly, and full of good recommendations.

Yall... Cant say enough about this place.
I tried the Chicken pot pie, 🤤 sooo good.
Then to follow up with hot Apple pie. 🤤🤤🤤
Yall gotta drop by here and grab a bite and a pie.

They were out of apple so we got the Chocolate Pie. It was the best pie my kids and I have ever tasted. So glad we tried something new. Can't wait to come back. Our crust was firm, flaky, wonderful!

I’ve been buying their pies for a few years now and their flavors never disappoint. My faves of their signature ones are the Chocolate chess & Buttermilk pies (seriously is there magic inside that buttermilk pie???) and my all time favorite seasonal pie is their Salted Caramel Dutch Apple pie 🤤
They also have amazing customer service!!!They ran out of Apple hand pies during their Pi Day event so couldn’t fulfill my order but they reached out to me promptly to offer a solution and even gave me a free slice of pie when I came in for pick up 😭🥹!!!

Don’t expect to get your $124 order. I ordered 1 large pot pie and 4 mini pot pies for my son and his wife in the military. They said they’d resend but haven’t. $124 gone. Save your money.

We received the dinner and dessert box as a gift. It was the chicken pot pie it was nothing as shown in the picture. The picture shows it packed with chicken and veggies and was wondering if any gravy was in it. Well ours was nothing like that. Lots of gravy but nothing close to the amount of chicken shown in the picture. Big chunks but not much vegetable. The flavors were good but disappointed with the amount of filling.

Might be a good place to go in person to buy something but a really bad experience with product shipped as a corporate gift and when I contacted customer service - it was worse. After I contacted them that my pie didn’t look anything like pies shown on their website. Crust was cracked and filling oozed out all around the edge of the pie. They asked I send a pic which I did and no response. After 2 more emails to CS - no response. I have contacted the person in charge of ordering corporate gifts and let them know of my experience. After talking to some other clients who also received gifts - they indicated a similar experience with the quality of their pie. My hope is the corporate buyer finds a new company to do business with who offers a better quality product and exceptional customer service if the need arises.

This place has the best pecan pie. Most pecan pies are too sweet. Southern Bakes's bourbon pecan pie is the best as it is not too sweet and has a cery good flavor.

Ordered two pies for a birthday for delivery in texas when I will be visiting from Virginia to be delivered on a specific date for a birthday. When the pies are now arriving I wont be here and also who wants pies that have been in transit in a warehouse for 4 days.Get notice that they will arrive two days late. Contact customer service and their attitude was to bad can't and won't help or refund.

Pies: The Apple Pie is excellent, with the perfect level of sweetness and mix of sweet and tart apples. Two words describes the Chocolate Pie: Very good!
