Honestly, I was surprised. We were in Summer Hill trying to get dinner somewhere else but they couldn't squeeze us in, so we ended up at Southern National. The food was SO good. Great variety, fresh ingredients, flavorful. The drinks and wine selection are spot onz and we've always had great service. We've added this to our regular rotation.
Josh gave us incredible service. The atmosphere is cozy. The food was delightful. If you like seafood, collards and mussels are must try. Compliments to the chef and staff for bringing fine dining to the Summerhill area.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The staff are exceptional; they bent over backward to accommodate us and the many idiosyncrasies of our group, including our service animal, our lateness to the reservation, and dietary restrictions. The server knew the menu inside out and gave great recommendations. Not that you can go wrong with anything on the menu; it’s all elevated southern comfort food in the best way. Good and strong cocktails. Very cosy atmosphere...
