Love their food and the drinks always hit … the bartender Nani excellent !!
Had a reservation on 7/11 at 1230p. If u have a party of 4 or more, I definitely wouldnt recommend this spot. The indoor space is extremely small, not suitable for larger parties at all. I had a party of 6 (family visiting from California) expecting some amazing southern cuisine; instead, the restaurant was not prepared to accomodate our party & we were asked to wait outisde after arriving. We waited in hot, humid weather w/an infant & a toddler for about 10 minutes then decided to go elsewhere. I received a text from the restaurant more than 20 minutes after our reservation time informing me my table was ready. no thanks!

BEWARE: This establishment is not worth the money nor the time. They charge $10 for parking, which they claims a third-party. They actually work together. for those of you who want to go here, remember you do not have to pay the parking, but they will tell you you have to. They do not valet but charge for parking. The owner was very unprofessional and wore a hoodie inside of the establishment -hood on. The bar area is very chaotic. If they see you at the end of the bar, be mindful that they make drinks at the end of the bar, deliveries are picked up there, and all business conversations are done there. The atmosphere is not worth seeing. The place is very, very tiny almost to the point where it’s uncomfortable to be there. The location is questionable. It’s located near an abandoned grocery/corner store, which really threw off the presentation. I was so taken back, that I left and went to Fros bistro instead. I suggest if you want brunch or dinner to do the same it was worth the money and the food was excellent. Parking was good and the atmosphere was amazing.
With just one night in Atlanta we wanted to make sure we got some good soul food. Southern Queenz really delivered on that. I suspect all their food is wonderful but I can personally vouch for the very tender and juicy lamb chops, the collards, dirty rice, and black eyed peas. And I was skeptical about the key lime cake since I only knew key lime pie, but I have to say it was excellent. It’s a very casual place, with a friendly, homey vibe. I’d love to go again and try more of the menu!

Their restaurant was located in a mini strip mall, and they blocked off all the spots with cones and charged $10 for parking and it felt like a scam.
I ordered 1 oxtail dinner meal and 1 order of the fried green tomatoes -both tasted good. The mac n cheese and collard greens that came with the meal were also okay. The food tasted good and our server was nice and relatively attentive but I didn't like that there was a 18% mandatory gratuity when I only ordered 1 meal and already paid 10 bucks for parking AND their bathroom sink wasn't working.
Why is there so much extra costs when I still hear ads playing between the music?
Long story short: Food was good but I wouldn't come again.

Would not come here again. Oxtail was good but expensive. That is the good parts. The Mac n Cheese and Collard greens was alright at best. The green tomatoes was also expensive and was alright. The parking was $10. They try to put on a semi fancy atmosphere but end up charging you every step of the way. Would not recommend but if you do want to Hookah, the price is not bad.
Parking: They charge 10 for an empty lot
