They make terrible drinks and drinks are too expensive to have a nasty drink. I think they are watering down the syrups. How does a simple vanilla latte taste bad? Barely taste the vanilla. I had them remake my drink, it was a slight improvement but still not up to Starbucks standards. Don’t waste your money. Go to Caribou or go to the real Starbucks at the Equitable building, you can use your app.

i cannot even begin to express how absolutely downright hideous our experience at this establishment was. if i could leave a negative star review, i would. i can speak to myself and my 6 companions—each of us were inexpressibly disappointed. we entered the doors around 8:50 am, expecting to secure a quick, hot snack and/or beverage. we were pitifully wrong. nothing could have prepared us for the emotional torment we were about to face. victim #1 approached the kiosk immediately as we arrived. she had to repeat her order 3 times before being heard—a latte and a pumpkin loaf. she waited fifteen minutes before her order was announced, and when she approached the counter, she realized the food was not even what she had ordered. instead, 10-20 unclaimed orders lined the counter, each representing a fallen victim, lined up in columns that we gazed at longingly. several pumpkin loaves were present, but none were offered up to victim #1. instead, to our unadulterated horror, one employee began to grab the unclaimed items and sequester them to the trash, one after the other. after THIRTY minutes had passed, victim #1 approached the counter, defeated. they handed her an item that made her heart drop. a pumpkin loaf in a crinkled plastic package, lukewarm. i myself, victim #6, approached the kiosk after 5 of my companions had already ordered, at which point the cashier disclosed that the wait time for food was about 30 minutes—a significant tidbit of knowledge that she had not graced my companions with. we had a meeting to attend in 10 minutes—what she saw in me that led her to disclose the wait time, i do not know. i was forced to order a cake pop that was wet and squishy, and a strawberry açaí lemonade refresher that tasted off. it is important to note that this location was not, in the slightest, understaffed—at least 5 employees were visible behind the counter. all seven of us left disappointed, weak from hunger, scorned and cold. we were running so late that my companion, victim #7, didn’t even have enough time to ask for a refund on the food she did not receive. i believe it is my responsibility to spread the dark secret behind this seemingly fruitful starbucks location. be wary and do not, by any means, grace this establishment with your patronage.

Ordered food, waited for 45 minutes and never came out. Came back 15 min later and they threw it out. Don’t go here since they can’t handle heavy crowds

15 minute wait for the worst cappuccino I have ever had. And it wasn't even busy.

This was more of a 4-star experience because I wish they'd put drinks in the correct letter ranges; it was busy and I don't like touching others' drinks, so I missed that my drink was already done. But hey, it tasted great, and I acknowledge that the extra time was on me too.
The reason I gave it 5 stars though was because people are idiots and I wanted to counter their nonsense. First, yes, it's a busy location. As such, you really have to open your eyes and know to expect a wait if you order in person; you are literally there, after all, so surely you can assess the complex concept of "more people=more time" without support (but the complaining I heard suggested otherwise).
This goes into the second, which is that they have an app. The app lets you ✨️order ahead✨️, you bunch of dingoes. Check the app. If they don't accept orders, that means they won't accept app payments or promotions, likely due to a system error out of the store's control. If it does accept orders, WHY ARE YOU ORDERING IN PERSON?! People like things to complain about is all I can figure. You know you want coffee, you know where you're going, so why do you not think it's worth the saved 5-10 minutes by ordering on your way down?
Non-standalone Starbs get shafted by the brand because they lack the support of regular stores. They're often forced to work understaffed while still being expected to deliver the brand's standards; please, give them a break, and dunk your head underwater nightly in the hope of growing a brain.

It took 45 minutes to an hour for order ahead. Absolutely a joke of a store

If I could leave 0 I would. The people are nice but you need to hire more. I’ve waited more than 20 minutes for them to warm up my order.

This store opens at 630 - not 6am -
Need to update hours.
If you’re staying at the Marriott and need coffee in the morning, be prepared for a long line that starts at 530am— bc people think it opens at 6.
Two days in a row - not open until 630am.

As reported by Time in 2010, third wave coffee proponents generally criticize Starbucks for over-roasting beans. As a result, Starbucks retrained its baristas and changed its roasting methods in 2010 in order to "standardize quality over quantity". The Atlantic reported that this push for higher-quality coffee slowed down orders, but stated "[they] move their product pretty quickly, and with surprising accuracy." Forbes corroborated this trade off between efficiency and quality at Starbucks. In 2018, Business Insider conducted a test of Starbucks coffee judged by 100 coffee experts. It concluded that although staples of the menu were "too sugary", coffee quality materially improved with particularly strong showings in the firm's iced coffee and nitro cold brew coffee offerings. Insider experts, however, did note that the coffee quality in Starbucks Reserves far surpassed that of the typical retail store.

I do not understand why a tall chestnut praline latte would cost anything more than $6 let alone $7.02. A TALL. I also tried to use an offer that was available on the app but was informed by the barista that this location does not accept the offers on the app. Then when I tried to scan to earn points, I was further informed that this location also does not accept scanning to give points. The barista stated that unless I was a Marriott member, I could not do so. It was quite a disappointing experience.
