We dined at Sundial for Valentine’s Day dinner and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Making reservations was quick and easy which made planning the evening stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and well worth the occasion. The service was excellent!!!! attentive, professional, and warm throughout the entire evening. It truly made our Valentine’s celebration special.

The duck entrée was the star of the meal — cooked perfectly, rich, and flavorful. My only small complaint would be the collard greens; they came out a bit too salty for me. Some of the other dishes felt a little old-fashioned, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. There’s a unique vibe here that makes the meal feel elevated — like you’re dining somewhere really special. The staff, the ambiance, and even the presentation make you feel like it’s more than just dinner. Minor issues aside, I’d definitely come back. Sometimes it’s not just about the food but the feeling you get while you’re there, and this place nails that. Perfect for a night out when you want great food and a memorable atmosphere.

I came here to celebrate my new relationship with my girlfriend, hoping for a special and memorable dinner. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The food was honestly some of the worst I’ve been served at a restaurant. We couldn’t even finish our meals the quality and flavor were just not there. It was surprising and frustrating, especially given the occasion.
We ended up finishing our bottle of champagne and leaving to grab food elsewhere because we were still hungry. That pretty much says it all.
I really wanted to love this place, but the food completely missed the mark.

The food was enjoyable, but what truly set this visit apart was the overall experience. Beyond the stunning scenery, it was the level of care and professionalism that made the moment special. The views alone are impressive, yet the attentive, polished service elevated everything to another level. It felt like a return to a time when hospitality was thoughtful, personal, and done with pride—something that’s become rare these days. Moments like this remind you how meaningful great service can be, and how much it enhances an already beautiful setting.

Such a great experience to go up to the elevators and to make it to the restaurant. Our waiter, Mr. Yve made it quite special, checking on us every few minutes to make sure we had everything we needed.
Food and service were exceptional but definitely pricey. Tables are very close together as we overheard the entire conversation next to us. Valet is sketchy! We were missing some belongings when returning to our car but of course they all played dumb.

This was our first visit. The food and service was wonderful. Size portion wasn't an issue at all. The view was amazing!
Not nearly as special as they think they are. Realize you have to pay for the view but way overpriced even with the view. Doesn't rotate like it used to. Limited selection menu. Cheesecake dessert tasted like it came from a day old bakery clearance rack. There's much better out there.

The service and the views were outstanding. Everyone was very welcoming and instant seating (with reservation). We were offered info about all the menu items as well as a picture with the view. The crab cake was delicious and worth the money. Though the fillet mignon was quite bland. It was perfectly cooked and tender but the lack of flavor and portion size did not feel up to par for the price.
In planning a cocktail and dinner party for Beyond the Gates in July and this is the perfect venue,I'm sure all my guests will be as thrilled as I was on this visit. Can't wait to return!
Overpriced but decent food, good for special occasions. The view is spectacular, especially for natives. Foie gras was incredible, and you get a souvenir glass for ordering a frozen drink at the restaurant

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience dining at The Sun Dial while in Atlanta on a business trip to gift market. It is a beautiful restaurant with stunning views of Atlanta. It was quiet and comfortable. Our server Peter was very nice and helpful. The cocktails were tasty and the food was delicious! It is pricey but we thought it was worth the splurge!
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this place. I had expected it to be a typical tourist spot in Atlanta, but it turned out to be an amazing experience. The view of Atlanta was incredible, and the staff and food matched the stunning scenery. If you're ever in downtown Atlanta, I highly recommend this place.
