You can tell this place was really nice once upon a time. My family talks about eating here years ago and how great it used to be, so we were excited to come back. The view is still amazing, but the restaurant itself feels a bit run down. The food actually tasted really good, but the service was slow and avoidant, which made the whole experience less enjoyable than we hoped.

My husband I went here for our first anniversary and although the view was beautiful the food was underwhelming. I ordered the pan seared halibut which was good but my poor husband got the filet mignon without the mushrooms. He enjoyed his 3 asparagus. Needless to say when it came out it was highly disappointing. The staff were great but the food and drinks are not worth the price. We probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

Perched atop The Westin Peachtree Plaza, The Sun Dial offers a 360° revolving view of Atlanta’s skyline, creating a truly unique dining experience. The restaurant spans three levels: the main dining room on Level 71, an observatory on Level 72, and the Sun Dial Bar & Lounge on Level 73, perfect for cocktails with a view. This combination of panoramic vistas and upscale ambiance makes it a standout for special occasions and fine dining in Atlanta.

Amazing view, Amazing staff, Amazing food. The halibut recommendation were so spot on and the salmon. The crab cake as a appetizer, omg, so good. Champagne was good too and all recommendations from Darrion was super good. Unique experience and style like no other.

Anne was amazing. She made it so fun to be there. It's an expensive experience but priced appropriately for the high quality food and spectacular views.

A Disappointment from Start to Finish I had a 9:15 PM reservation and arrived early, only to be told we couldn't even go upstairs until 5 minutes before. That already set the tone. Once we finally got up there, the staff looked confused and completely untrained; no one seemed to know what was going on. Then came the sticker shock: the prices are outrageous for what they offer. The food was subpar at best—definitely not worth the cost—and the service was just as bad: slow, disorganized, and completely lacking in hospitality. I regret coming. The whole experience felt like a waste of time and money. And the view? Sure, it's high up—but it doesn't even rotate anymore, which used to be the main draw. If you're looking for a special night out, this isn't it. Keep looking.

This restaurant boasts the best view in Atlanta - absolutely stunning. The food is decent overall, and some dishes like the lobster are quite good and worth recommending. However, I have two main concerns about this place:
First, for a hotel restaurant, the service was surprisingly slow and lacking in several areas. I expected a more polished experience given the setting.
Second, while this may not always be the case, during our visit some guests were constantly taking flash photos that were blinding other diners, and others were being quite loud. What bothered me most was that the staff didn't step in to address any of these disruptions, which really detracted from what should have been an upscale dining experience.
