Avoid Sweet Auburn Market at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport!
I recently had the misfortune of visiting the Sweet Auburn Market at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, and I can confidently say it was the worst service I have ever experienced. The lady on duty was confusing and rude, claiming that the kitchen was open until 7 PM. When I attempted to place an order at 6:22, I was abruptly informed that the kitchen was closed.
While waiting in line to buy a bottle of water, I overheard her taking an order for a toasted sandwich from someone else. Confused, I asked her why the kitchen was closed if she was still serving food. Her response? "Oh, it's back open now. You should be grateful!" This was incredibly frustrating. Either the kitchen is open or it isn’t—there’s no need for this kind of mixed messaging.
To top it all off, I couldn’t even get a simple drink without enduring such terrible service. I would not recommend Sweet Auburn Market to anyone. Unfortunately, there are limited options for dining when saying goodbye to loved ones at international departures, but I sincerely hope they replace the current staff or rethink this establishment. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place!

Here during the silly ❄️ snowmageddon ❄️ of January, 2025 (evening of Jan 10). Staff was amazing, and dealt with grumpy customers perfectly.

NOT RECOMMENDED. I am not sure if we are reading these reviews correctly, maybe unless you know the staff you receive service. The attandan did everything and gave as much negative information so we DO NOT ORDER in this facility, employees or manager sit at the bar mix with guest, no uniform or name tag and ask if everything is ok!!! A basic flat bread or Panini per server takes 20 minutes!!!! Greatest opportunity for sales business, particularly in December which the revenue can make up for slower month.

Octavia and Nidavah mixed me the most delicious and beautiful Pomegranate Margaritas. Both ladies were kind and friendly, interacting in conversation with me and happy dispositions. I was relaxing during my layover and the drinks were wonderful, best tasting margaritas I ever had and they made the atmosphere very pleasant. Great employees and great place to pit stop at the ATL airport. Thank you.
Ocatavia was so helpful. So glad we stopped here. What a delight. The food was great!

Had the absolute rudest person behind the counter at the Sweet Auburn Market. She literally did not look me in the eyes once, she was playing games on her phone. I asked her kindly if they’re open and if I can order, she then just looked me up and down in the nastiest way possible like I’m reallyyy inconvenient to her, and said yeah, you can order. I just walked away and went to the Starbucks below instead. So terrible.
